Living here so far has been fine, however there are some issues that weren't well communicated at the time of signing the lease. I didn't know my apartment would be right above a daycare playground so the noise is a lot, I wish it had been disclosed prior to us moving in. I was told over the phone that the "valet trash" (they take your trash from outside your door and put it in the trash chute which is a 5 second walk from our door) was an optional TWENTY FIVE dollars a month. But now I am being forced to pay a ridiculous amount for a service I don't need or want. I wasn't even given the special valet trashcan until two weeks after moving in, and only after I inquired about the $25 charge I was seeing on my utility breakdown, so thats a little shady too. The amenities are great, the gym and the roof deck are awesome, but the hidden fees and miscommunication are not. Edit, Took off another star for the unbearable heat. It's consistently 75 degrees or more in our apartment (with the heat supposedly off, and the windows open) and gets even higher if you use anything in the kitchen. We've had to buy a fan and its not even spring yet. We would leave the windows open longer but the daycare is so noisy my partner and I can barely hear eachother.

The location of this building at the moment is it’s largest downfall. With the bridge out for a number of years you will encounter traffic jams just trying to get to I5. I lived on the east side before moving here and my commute was faster living out there. The noise is terrible and is periodic though the day and night. At first you’ll think some explosion has occurred then you realize it keeps happening over and over again. What this noise is are the trains coupling. I can not express this enough how incredibly loud this is, it wakes me up at all hours of the night. I’ve lived in capital hill before and I’d take the noises there vs this sound. While maintenance is nice the initial move in had some issues such as the cabinets were loose but I was able to fix them. I had a new dishwasher installed and they neglected to install the mount that keeps the dishwasher from falling forward, imagine my surprise opening that the first time. If you live facing the alley way be ready for some bright orange lights to be lighting up your places tonight. I gave it an extra star for three reasons: West Seattle is nice if you don’t think about the bridge, the C line bus is practically out front, it has a gym and a rooftop deck. Though arguably they have been closed more or less since I moved in. Overall, look elsewhere at least until the bridge is fixed. I don’t see any solution for the coupling or lighting issues.

Lived here for about 18 months through both lock downs during the pandemic. Great place to live due to convenience of location and everything nearby. Management and staff were very responsive throughout my time here and made me feel very welcomed. I had some issues with the valet trash people every once in a while but the situation resolved itself. Other than that, I had no real issues with anything else. Rent was very reasonable and affordable. I would highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking to move within or to West Seattle.

Quiet, spacious, clean, secure apartment and the building itself. Ask for Sara to help with the tour and getting you set up, she was extremely helpful. I also love the location, Trader Joes and Whole Food along with many shops and restaurants with in walking distance. Very happy thus far with my decision to move here!
