Honestly, the apartments complex, and the apartments themselves are great. I loved my unit, I never heard my neighbors, and I was comfortable with the space I had. Loved the balcony too. It was really convenient that there was trash pick up, and even if I didn't want to wait, there are trash chutes at the end of every hallway. I liked the new company that took over, Greystar. Claudia and Christian in the leasing office are amazing! They are so kind, and really try to help you with a personal touch. Christian and I talked about previously living in the Bay Area! -1 Star because the neighborhood is .... vibrant. It's not the best neighborhood, but for the price you're paying, I get it.

The solara is the best place ive experienced me and my fiance just moved in and the leasing agent Christian is extremely polite very helpful and has an awesome personality .. Some of the big pluses about this place is there is a mini theater a wifi lounge with full kitchen and a gym with a beautiful court yard.. Its in the heart of lakecity surrounded by stores and restaurants so everything is in walking distance and major bus lines run along lakecity way as well.. If ur looking for a forever home check out the solara youll be very happy u did.. They also except furbabies 😊

Had issues with package theft despite there being lockers you have to pay for. The parking garage door broke multiple times and there are usually homeless loitering, smoking, or sleeping near the entrance. I have been followed to my car and harassed while inside the “secure” garage and there have also been smashed windows/break ins. Had a group of labourers attempt to enter our apartment, instead of the vacant unit next door. When I came to the leasing office visibly upset by a group of men trying to enter my apartment while I was home alone, they showed little remorse and dismissed the issue. This place is loud; the fire alarm went off whenever we opened our oven, and the building fire alarm went off multiple times (sometimes in the middle of the night or early in the morning). When we politely filed a noise complaint after months of hearing our neighbours loud music/banging they told us that it was “part of living in an apartment” and did nothing. There are dogs barking often and people have to yell out their windows for them to stop. If you value a feeling of safety, security, and peace, I wouldn’t recommend this place. Walk down 33rd Ave to get a sense of who your neighbours are.

Fantastic leasing/ property management. Claudia is very friendly, funny, and a nice person to work with! The property is also gorgeous and comes with a bunch of amenities.
