They need to upgrade the way they provide vouchers. Like a way to sign up online maybe, and mail the vouchers to specific addresses. A per family limit. The system in place is horrible. Now we have 7 puppies running around from dogs we've rescued, and tried endlessly to obtain vouchers through their "just keep calling" system. Just great! Not all of us have time to spend, hour after hour trying to call!

Just as Jen T posted. All animals are spay or neutered before leaving along with chips registered to the person who adopts them.
Kittens are 40 or 50 its not much they are cheaper then dogs
Go to our website at monroecountyfriendsofanimals.org. click on the "fostering" link for information regarding fostering. You can also ask at the shelter.
We could never adopt out all the Animals we take in so yes, we send many to our trusted rescue partners. We will not let a sick or severely injured animal suffer so yes we humanely euthanize them. Sadly some animals have such an aggressive temperament that they too must be euthanize because they cannot be trusted with humans and other animals. We do not euthanize for space.
There are a variety of ages of dogs for adoption. Consider those sweet 1yr and 2yr old pups that need a new home when you go in. Rescue dogs are often the best dogs.
No. The shelter on provides medical care for shelter animals.
Yes
I believe they take all dogs "unless" they are already full.
Dog and Puppy adoption fees are determined by age: Puppies under 1 yr ($125), Dogs 1-6 yrs ($100), Senior Dogs > 7 yrs ($50). Adoption fees include age appropriate vaccines, HW test (dogs over 6 months), spay/neuter, deworming, microchip, and flea prevention applied
Have you given the place a call about your query? They might have the answers that you're looking for.
All of the animals for adoption are on monroecountyfriendsofanimals.org.
I would recommend a visit, daily and see for your self. You may just be the lucky person who is standing there when your newest family member walks in and get to take him/her home before someone else claims your desire as theirs. Good fortune in your search.

Thank you for rescuing him, Lisa 💜 Call Lab Rescue of Knoxville (865) 457- 5626 & http://www.knoxlabrescue.com/surrendering-your-lab.html Hopefully he'll get a good home..
Please call or come by in the morning.
Normally 95.00 it may vary
Yes as far as I know they are
Not certain, a small fee can sometimes be requested from shelters, $10, $15, but that's better than the alternative which is to abandon the pet like so many people do today. Give them a call. They will work with you. If u can't pay, then tell them, just do what's best for the animal. Please!
