Love this airport and also have a huge respect!!! I flew hundreds of rounds through the traffic pattern of the airport to learn how to land my Cessna 172 when I was working on my private license. It’s fairly quiet airport in comparison to airstrips in the area which give the opportunity to new pilot to concentrate and learn better. No class delta communications and distractions! :)

This airport is close to several fast food places, a casino, a couple restaurants, and a Starbucks. There is a parking lot at the south end where you can watch planes land, as well. Emerald Downs is right next door.
This airport has 2 different flight schools based from it and over 100 private pilots own or rent hangars to store their planes. There are legal heights all planes and helicopters maintain when over residences but as long as the pilots meet these FAR rules they are both legal and polite. Perhaps you should rent an apartment not near an airport?
Classic Helicopters is located at the airport. The have a CFII for both rotary wing and fixed wing. They also offer demo flights for those not sure about jumping in that just want to wiggle sticks and try it out.
