I agree with Melbourne. Seems like a very common experience. It likely stems from sub-par employee benefits and low pay.

Wal-Mart only has layaway for holiday season usually starts in August/September each year is different you'd have to visit a store for more detail. Usually nothing like shoes, clothing, towels. Each item has to be a minimum of I believe 10 or 15 dollars.

Don't order from in the store you still have to wait even if you find the items yourself...

Barely anything is being done. Unlike the mall where security will ask you to put a mask on and such, Walmart does not care. Half the employees walking around without masks and customers aren't wearing them either. Some of those employees were sneezing and coughing as well. Disgusting.

Walmart announced a few months ago that they permanently are not going back to the 24 hour format even after covid. They have been trying to shift away from 24 hours for years and they used covid as their excuse to finally implement it.

Protests are forcing many business to close early to avoid damage from looters and criminals. There is fear at work with many of the Jackson retailers after seeing major metropolitan areas destroyed earlier this week.
