Nice facilities, nice campsites separated by trees for privacy. Very scenic right by a snowmelt creek running through a gorge. Because of the gorge and the mountains the weather can be a bit unpredictable, and cooler and windier than nearby Winthrop. Stake your tent and bring extra blankets!

We had an issue with someone taking our campsite and Robert the campground host handled it for us. What a lovely man and he took the brunt of the drama caused by the mixup/thievery. Heard the river all night long.

Arrived at the campground around 12:30pm on a Sunday and several sites were available. Nice and quiet campground.

Excellent campground, we have a 29' travel trailer and most spaces are more than big enough for it. All spaces are very nice and level, this is a beautiful quiet place
