I agree with Melbourne. Seems like a very common experience. It likely stems from sub-par employee benefits and low pay.
Because Walmart doesn't require them to provide any type of decent customer service. If they are not held responsible why would they do it. The only reason you get better service else is because the companies actually reprimand their employees when bad service is given. Not Walmart.
Most just want a paycheck, and manners are few and far between
