I’ve lived here for 7 months, and I love the location. I can walk to Lake Union, SLU, and Capitol Hill. It’s nice to be close to the entrance to the 5, and I’ve never had any issues with navigating traffic around the unit. The underground parking is great and I feel very safe in the building. My unit itself is great- I love the layout as a studio with some half walls to provide separation from the bedroom and the rest of the unit. The kitchen appliances are new and all work well. The leasing office and all of the agents are very kind, helpful, and quick to get back to me with answers to my questions. I am taking one star off due to the amenity spaces which I wish were a bit nicer. I would appreciate more equipment within the gym, and I would really love if there was wifi on the roof. There is wifi available but unfortunately it is very unreliable to connect to and the signal is too weak to actually be able to use the wifi for anything. I love my unit and the location of the building and would happily stay with Amli apartments in future moves.

I rent a parking spot here. The office open until late morning and nobody there until 9am, but I've had instances of people parking in my assigned spot when I come in for work in the mornings. When you call to have the car towed, the towing company says the office has to handle it. When you call the office, nobody is there, off-site call center can sometimes be reached but they tell you to call towing company directly.... Thanks..... At least the people are nice when you are able to get a hold of them.

I lived at Amli 535 from 2018 to 2019 with my husband! The day we moved in we found a bed bug in the apartment, thankfully our furniture hadn't arrived. When we contacted the property manager Megan initially, she claimed that there was a bed bug infestation few years prior in other floors and they had taken care of it. We requested if we could be put in a different apartment temporarily or change the apartment since our stuff hadn't arrived yet, they outright denied. We then asked for the lease to be cancelled since this happened within 48 hours of moving in, they decided to put the blame on us claiming that we got the bug with us. Being new to the city and AMLI refusing to budge on all the fees and rent, we had no choice but to stay. Unlike other properties in Seattle which have a 20 day notice period to vacate, AMLI had a 60 day notice period at that time which was not clear to us. My husband gave a notice to move out at just over 50 days, but Taylor at AMLI 535 leasing office rejected it and was very rude about it. We were ultimately given a choice to either pay them on a month-to-month basis which was $1000 higher than our rent or transfer to a different AMLI property within 30 days. We had friends live at other apartments nearby and condos who never had such experiences. I would recommend you to save yourselves from bugs and headaches and find elsewhere to stay.
