There is mold in the walls. They refused to give me money back for things they said were refundable ($50 per key fob) when I moved out because they were too unorganized to find it. After being at the Eden for 3 years, they were attempting to increase my rent by $500. Not only is this an absurd increase, but they did not notify me within the mandatory 6 month time frame. This is poor and immoral business practice. I would not recommend their facility. Also, I have had my car broken into 3 times. They have continuously promised to install lighting to help with this problem, but have failed to meet their promise. My storage unit was also broken into and I had thousands of dollars of my belongings taken. High crime area. Poor management. Would not suggest

They try to get your money out of your pocket as if they were trashy apartments. Why would nice looking apartments need to file people for 20+ $15 charges on move out fees if they weren’t greedy?

I lived in The Eden for about a year. I LOVED that it had a real fireplace and my apartment had a beautiful view. The apartment was clean when I moved in though had a couple small issues that I just noted on my move in sheet. It seems the staff at The Eden turns over quite often and because of that they tend to have trouble getting things done sometimes. Some maintenance requests get done super quickly (light bulbs, cupboards being loose) and some i requested never got done (power washing our really dirty stairwells and landing) or got done poorly. I probably would have stayed at The Eden longer but, after not being able to raise rent during Covid, they wanted to increase my rent from $2408 a month to $3050 a month. When I inquired about the new seattle rental law of not being able to raise rent more than 10% and having to give 6 months notice, they informed me that because they sent the notices before the law went into effect (3 days before), that it did not apply. They did agree to negotiate to a cheaper rent but at that point I was feeling like I didn’t want to live somewhere that was gaming the system like that when they knew a new law was going into motion. Overall- the apartments are beautiful, the patio space is great and it is tucked away but, for me, I wanted to live somewhere that felt more considerate. Here are a few pictures of my apartment! It really was beautiful- if you do move here, make sure to get a spot with a view!

If you are apartment hunting in the Queen Anne neighborhood, you have quite a few choices! For me, it always boils down to the people. When I visited The Eden the ladies in the office were so friendly and organized. When I was taken on a tour of the property I didnt feel rushed to make a decision - They did not need to sell me on the apartment home, this places sells itself. THEN - To move in, and discover that the office and maintenance team is prompt and communicative? I could not have chosen a better place to call my home. My emails and calls are always returned in a timely manner. When Katie, Jamie or Caleb see me out on the property walking my dog they always say hello, and they know me and my fur baby by name. My pup even appreciates this place! Such a great community of pet owners - the most cute bark park - So happy with the Eden!

Questions & Answers

I'm new to Queen Anne. Where can I meet new people?

The best way to meet friends is by doing something you love! We have several places around the apartment campus to meet others with similar hobbies. Play a game in the indoor lounge, take the pup out to the dog park, host a movie night on our projector screen, go for a walk in the garden, or join a guided fitness class on campus. You'll be meeting new friends in no time.

Do you have a place to store bicycles?

Great question! We have an indoor bike storage space where residents can keep their bikes worry-free, plus a parcel locker where mail carriers can tuck away your packages for pick-up.

I don't like exercising alone. Are there times when the apartment gym is busy?

Great question! Our fitness center has the most bustle in the mornings before work. You may also be interested in our guided fitness classes held throughout the week. Check out the schedule posted by the door or visit us at the office for more information.

My printer broke. Can I print something at the office?

Not to worry! Come to the wifi lounge to get work done anytime and print everything you need on the community printer.

Does The Eden have a dog park?

Great question, Marin! Our off-leash dog park has plenty of space for dogs to run and place fetch, as well as a doggie obstacle course. There are two sheltered benches so guests can relax and keep an eye on the pups.
