I have been a patient of Dr. Schottenstein's at NY Spine Medicine for five years and I cannot recommend him more highly. I see Dr. Schottenstein on a monthly basis for neurological care and pain management which includes medications and injections when needed and advised. I am extremely pleased with the level of care Dr. Schottenstein provides. Dr. Schottenstein is uniquely qualified to review symptoms, determine the best course of treatment and provide the highest level of care. I am confident in saying this based on my experience and the fact that Dr. Schottenstein is board certified in both Neurology and Pain Management, an extremely rare occurrence among doctors. At my initial appointment/consultation with Dr S. he was very thorough with his examination, explained available treatment options, offered what he thought the best course of action would be, and reviewed the positives and potential negatives of each option. Dr. S. is always very patient in answering all my questions and concerns related to each treatment option. I had consulted with a few doctors prior to meeting with Dr. Schottenstein but when I first met with Dr. S. I was sure that I wanted Dr. Schottenstein treating me. At each of my appointments with Dr. S. over the past five years he continuously reviews my condition, happily answers all of my questions and discusses potential treatment options. There have been instances where I have needed to see Dr. S. before my next scheduled appointment and he has always been very accommodating and able to make time for me. Another thing I would like to point out is how helpful and attentive his assistants and the whole staff at NY Spine Medicine are. They are very helpful, responsive and friendly. To sum it up, I am extremely happy with Dr. Schottenstein and the whole staff at NY Spine Medicine and could not have chosen a better doctor for treatment. I highly recommend being treated by Dr. Schottenstein as he and his staff provide a fantastic level of care and support.

Excellent spine and nerve Doctor, doctor schcottenstein will nice to greet patient, and provide custom treatment and patient can choose best treatment plan. Dr. Schottenstein is an excellent Doctor. He is knowledgeable and most of all he cares! He listens and makes sure you are comfortable with the treatment. I have been with Dr. Schottenstein for eight years and I wouldn’t trust any one else with my care. The office staff is very friendly and also makes me feel very comfortable to ask questions. I know his father just passed away and he was tired of the staff's behavior. coming late or not calling when going to be out. I too know of the difference. It is very hard to get in touch with the office. I think he should hire someone to help out because I believe it is getting overwhelming and when people don't get communication they find another doctor. He is very good at his job but he needs better administrative help. I have been going there since 2008- 11 yrs
The office was deserted yesterday, too, but the nice gentleman in front pulled my chart and took me to a room. I had an injection and it went very well. My visits (I've had two since the staff is gone) have never been so fast. I have gotten all my scrips, I get text messages in response to my calls, and Dr. Schottenstein is always a pleasure to see.
HE HAS CELL NUMBER JUST KEEP CALLING
The only way ive ever gotten a call back is after leaving a threatening message. As in reporting him to an ethics board
