This is the absolute worst social security office!!! The man at the desk is by the rudest person I have ever encountered. He just sits there and doesn’t acknowledge people unless they walk to the desk. All he says is use the machine. He plays on the computer or on his phone. Definitely not someone who should be working with the public or elderly people at that who are not tech savvy and can’t use a computer.

I wanted a replacement social security card but was stopped by a scared masked security guard because I did not have a mask on There is no law in Alabama that says one has to wear a mask I refuse to wear an unhealthy mask and breathe In waste It also shows they do want to actually work but be mask police and try to be on a power trip

June 2022 and they are still enforcing Covid protocols. Typical government knuckleheads. Making people stand in line out in the hot sun, while open seats inside.

Don’t waste your time calling this place. All week I’ve been calling for an appointment and no one answers or there “aren’t any staff available” says they’re open but not

I have called many times for my son's insurance but they only speak English
Make appointment
Need Replacement card
30/45 is perfect
To start be very careful about who you give the number to. Lock it up when you are not using it. Use a security monitor on your email when you send it somewhere.
Look on the website
You just show up but it would be best to have an appointment...If you just go in make sure you are there by 8:45 a.m. they open at 9...both times I've gone in I was there at 8:45 got right in and out within 30 minutes...Hope this helps....
The one in Fairhope Al doesn't require an appointment. It's not as busy as you would think either. Peace
No appt needed. Security officer meets you at the door with a mask and ushers you in to the check-in kiosk. Then have a seat until they call you.
There's a drop box but idk exactly What it's used for
You can drop off paperwork in the morning, but they lock the door at 11:30 am.
I drove from foley. I knocked on the side door and security came out and told me to call the number on the front door as well. Problem is you cannot get anyone to answer the phone and the recording eventually hangs up on you.
They are currently telling us to print the paperwork off their website and mail it in with an original copy of our marriage license and ID
Free. Setup account at SS, then request one.
U can call or just stop in and make one
You can just drop in and so that go early and they move quick
Yes you can
No. You can do it online at mysocialsecurity
I need to make a appointment
You have to go up there they well not call you back
Asap otherwise you might have to pay back some money.
Medicare 65 not sure about medicaid
Make an appointment
I have no clue. You will have to call Social Security office for that
I don't think so. Unless things have changed they mail you a card. Try getting some kind of print out fir vetifucation ubtil you get the csrd. Good luck.
You can not do that at this office
Never Give Out Your SS# EVER. However If you are setting up a Trust Fund, You need a WILL EXECUTOR. You then have to put that person's SS # on it. You can also place all the other people's SS# on it as well. Best thing is to talk to a bank manager or one of the representatives
