Good doctors/nurses but everything is beyond poor. A very basic clinic too. Limited options limited availability. Never have felt like a customer. Nor do they care about retention. Will be finding a new pcp. Son goes to polyclinic Madison. Would switch him too if he didn’t have a great doctor.

I LOVE my doctor, but the fact that I was on hold for an hour trying to reach someone in my doctors office is unacceptable! I had a major scheduling conflict and needed to change my appointment to a telehealth appointment and I couldn’t reach a soul. I was on the ferry by the time someone from the office finally called me. I understand that healthcare is currently understaffed nationally; I also work in healthcare, However the phones NEED to be answered, if the Polyclinic wants to hang on to its patients and support staff then they need to make it worth their wild to stay. Billing!, What a headache! They didn’t bill my insurance on file, then tried to bill it for another appointment after my insurance changed. Because they couldn’t get payment from my insurance( nor did they call) my account was sent to collections! Polyclinic has a place in My Chart where you can (supposedly) update your insurance information ,but IT DOESNT WORk! Multiple attempts to try and update my info with someone with no luck. The Polyclinic used to be the place where you got world class care and patient rep services. What happened?

Avoid Kimberly Maris/PA in OB Gyn at all costs. I had no option but to see her, as my situation was dire and my established MD was booked. When I expressed concern it may be ovarian cancer, she quickly replied with a big smile, "Could be uterine!" What healthcare provider in their right mind responds this way to a fearful patient? The invasive procedure was a nightmare. She didn't provide any information while it was happening. There were no warnings or updates. She was rough and aggressive; it was extraordinarily painful. When I told her I felt like I was going to pass out, she expressed no care or concern. Thankfully, I was able to manage my symptoms once my MD became available. This woman should not be practicing medicine.

This review is for their billing practices. Super frustrating to continue to receive bills for something I should not have to pay. I had a consult for plastic surgery and paid the $$ fee for it ahead of time when booking. They also billed my insurance (which was not stated at any time during the scheduling process or consults) and have acknowledged that this was incorrect and it was fixed. Instead I keep receiving bills, and keep having to spend MY time getting it fixed. Now I’m receiving the ‘we will send you to collections’ letter. I know- you’ll just respond with a ‘we will tell our billing leadership, so sorry’ response but this is inadequate. I will never use this clinic for anything ever again. Waste of my time and poor customer service. Adding an update: someone reached out personally and stated they’ve fixed this issue and apologized profusely. I appreciate them being accountable and following up.
