I'm so upset with this clinic the rest of the staff was quick to respond.... I was being labeled and stereotyped by the doctor and just pushed drugs was not okay with me. She judged me without looking at the medical concerns that I was complaining about- chronic headaches/cluster headaches/migraines and CHEST PAIN- disregarding the chest pain as basically "all in my head"- then referred me to a specialist because she couldn't do anything in office. when I tried to book an apt with imaging they couldn't see me until July- until I had to complain to a manager. HENCE having to go to the ER because the pain was worsening without any of the medical staff taking my concerns seriously. I spoke to a manager that was very reassuring up until I didn't receive the calls for referrals as stated in our conversation, stating I must have gotten off on the wrong foot with this doctor. This doctor put down an array of reasonings as to why I came into the office- did not state my chest pain that I was having. I could have been experiencing a heart attack and this doctor would have laughed and say its all stress and all in my head. I highly discourage anyone to go to this clinic to receive medical care and have taken a complaint with the Washington medical commission to site this doctor. Being a former medical professional I was horrified by this experience at this office. Save yourself the trouble research for a better doctor. Than Ruby Faroogi

Was 12 minutes late for a first time appointment that I only booked because their specialists all require referrals despite what your insurance policy is and they told me I was too late and needed to reschedule. So it is okay to linger for 30-45 minutes waiting for the doctor but god forbid I am 12 minuted late.

Updating review to 4 stars based on overall experience/outcome. Could be 5 stars, but the amount of hoops needed to jump through to get everything sorted out was excessive. Visited for a dermatology appointment in April. First off, doctor is great. Fast, thorough, and calls you back. Facilities are very nice and support staff at clinic are great too. This issue arises with what happens behind the scenes and with customer service. Despite procedures being recommended and documented as non cosmetic, the claims were denied; therefore not subject to insurance negotiated rates. Rather than clinic resubmitting claims, a bill for the full service was received from PolyClinic. Upon calling customer service for an explanation, I was brushed off and told it was because I had a high deductible health plan. I pushed back given the claim was flagged as not covered and wasn’t even applying to deductible, which just got more push back. PolyClinic didn’t help get things resolved until a negative review was written. Now they have been super responsive and even got the doc involved (which shouldn’t have to be the case as they have better things to do than deal with billing disputes). So I’d sum it with with: Good medical services Not good billing practices

Really like The Polyclinic Ballard - Dr. Salib is probably the best doctor I've ever had. He knows his stuff, and his manner with you as a patient is soothing and comfortable. I haven't experienced any issues with billing or payments like others described, and I've also been impressed with the MyChart system and the video visits. My prescriptions are also ready ASAP after my appointments, so consider some of the other complaints with a grain of salt I guess

It's underground in the building. Never had a problem getting a spot. It's like five or six bucks for an hour
