Very lovely and peaceful garden in South Seattle, really great maintenance by the groundkeepers and really nice place for an afternoon walk, go see some neat plants and see the cool garden

What wonderful place and very nostalgic. I read that the project has not yet completed and I can't wait to see it when it's done. There is a peony garden inside the Chinese garden. Next to the Chinese garden is the arboretum. I read some of the reviews mentioned there is no restroom. Actually there is one inside the garden center, see the last pic. There is a $5 parking fee

An excellent place to visit with your family, taking a nice walk and learning about different plants. There is a collection of conifers that started 20 years ago, which is very interesting.

Spectacular day to visit the Chinese Gardens today on mother's day for the Peony festival. 65°! Yay!

Questions & Answers

Do you have to pay money for visiting?

No, entry is free!

Would this be an appropriate place to bring seniors for a visit? Some in wheelchairs, some use walkers, most walk freely but need pretty level/ smooth pathways. Usually about 6 or 8 of them. What is the entrance fee?

There's no fee to get in, but feel free to donate to their organization. It's mostly volunteers. And yes this is wheelchair accessible. Enjoy!
