3 emails and 4 phone calls just to get my invoice from staying there. Very noisy employees at 5am, cleaners maybe. Noisy though. For these prices I expected much more

My husband and I stayed here because it was convenient for our dinner plans at ONE Dine at 1 WTC. You can walk to all of the world trade center buildings from this hotel. We didn’t have a room with much of a view because on the other side of the building the fifth world trade center building is going up. However, it’s not New York City if there isn’t construction going on somewhere. You can walk to many places from this location including Battery Park and the Staten Island ferry. You can also take the train at World Trade Center to go anywhere uptown or a train into downtown Brooklyn. We did not have breakfast at the hotel so I’m not sure if it’s available. The elevators take forever but the room was nice. I wish the TV would have worked. I liked the touch-less check-in and check-out. The computers are very slow.

Stayed here 3 nights. The first night I checked in fine but when i got to my room the bathroom smelled like completely musk and didn’t look too clean. I then switched rooms and the same problem so i think they don’t know how to handle shower curtains. I dealt with it by just airing out ther bathroom and not closing the door. The shower water pressure is horrible as it tends to go from strong to very light and i felt the pipes inside the walls struggle to push water out. also the sink was clogged i guess with too much hair from previous people. to finish off, i was smoking outside the hotel for like 20-25 min and so was another person. i had been done for about 5-10 min and then one of the employees told me to go further away from the door (even tho i originally was). i told him i was done ans he told me okay dont do it again and i said alrighty cool. i went back in and i see him looking upset and when i walk past him he yells out “this guy right here” while pointing at me and saying that. i get he’s probably upset he can’t take a smoke break to relax that aggression he has, but no need to start instigating things and try to act all tough infront of your coworkers. you already told me something, no need to escalate things. that last experience sealed the deal and i will never be staying here again. fix up this hotel before acting like it’s fancy sophisticated place when in reality it isn’t.
