If you g o straight down the hill there is parking and to the right are good spots to put rafts or canoes kayaks in the water. Next to that is a pretty nice place to swim. Esoecially for younger ones.

Rocky. There are a few limited access points, still surrounded by rocks. But since there are only a few they are high traffick for folks with kayaks, noats, etc. Not very toddler friendly, though an adult could easily swim out past the rocks.

I went there with my dog. Had her on a leash and she loved it. Other dogs were there as well, leashed. Just have to pick up after them, keep them cool and away from wildlife animals. Watch for possible ticks. 😊
