DO NOT RECOMMEND VCA! My Goldendoodle had a cut on the end of her tail and I accidentally bandaged it wrong causing the tail to get a little more infected. I immediately took my dog to VCA Becker and they told me her tail still had blood flow and that they would clip the end of her tail under sedation and bandage her tail up for healing. I also do NOT believe she was sedated because she was there for a short period of time and was super hyper when I picked her up! Something definitely seemed off when I picked her up. Dr. Li texted me (in the middle of the bandage procedure) to tell me that my doodle needs amputation instead. He told me he would amputate almost all of her tail leaving her with maybe 1-2 inches of tail length. But YOU WOULD tell me this AFTER I already paid the $450 for a BASIC bandage. This is something YOU SHOULDVE RECOMMENDED TO ME IN THE EXAM ROOM WHEN YOU EXAMINED HER, RIGHT?! NOT AFTER I PAID $450 FOR A BANDAGE. Fast forward, Here we are about 3 weeks later. My dogs tail has been RE-BANDAGED by a different local vet. Animal Crossing able to see Mila the same day charged $47 doctor fee, $19 walk in fee, and $20 for a NEW BANDAGE. They also just quoted $750 for the amputation that DR.Li quoted me OVER $2,000 for!!! $450 compared to $86 $2,000 amputation compared to $750 VCA BECKER IS A JOKE. I wish I could get my money back from these crooks. Never going back again they are still the same sketchy people they were years ago when they were on all the news stations. Wanted to give them a chance but made a big mistake. Lesson learned. GO TO ANIMAL CROSSING!

On October 25, 2022 I went in for my 4 week old kitten named Brownie. He was very lethargic and weak, wasn’t drinking his milk nor being active like he use to. I brought in Brownie so they can help him and tell me what’s best to do and they were very helpful in telling me what was wrong, I do appreciate that. That very same day my precious Brownie passed away within a few hours. I am heartbroken and at lost, this doesn’t feel real. Such a fragile sweet baby now he’s gone. Once again I appreciate them letting me know what was wrong and sent me home with prescriptions that can help. I did ask one of the Drs. to be honest with me if my Brownie was not going to make it. I understand it’s not ideal to tell us that but I wish they did. It’s not their fault at all, but I really had hope that he would’ve gotten better and regain his strength. Overall I cannot mix my emotions with my visit that day. But I do have to say I went home with prescriptions thinking he would survive, I just feel like they knew he was going to pass away and they didn’t want to tell me. The Dr came in and just from his face and body language for sure he knew Brownie didn’t have long until. He told me it doesn’t look as bad and he will be fine. They said they never guarantee anything which is very understandable. But if they knew he had low glucose and was very weak of course they knew he was going to pass away. Sure don’t tell me he will pass but tell me it’s not looking well he might not make it. I feel like there is not much compassion anymore. I get it it’s your job but at least have some human decency.

To be seen is 50ish I belive they are open 24 7 and eeeeextreamly reasonable on prices i would defiantly take her in!!!
You can clean his anal glands yourself. Instead of paying someone.
They do accept walkins, but the line is dependent on who else is needing help. Ive had to wait anywhere from 10 min to 4 hours as a walkin/emergency. Id call ahead for walkin, because they can get you on the walkin list and call you when youre next so you arent sitting in the parking lot for that long!
If she is passed her due date I would definitely get her seen asap
Becker's is a very good hospital, but the wait to drop off and pick up was extremely long. Its was 3 to 4 hours to drop off and 2 hours to pick up. Plus we were charged before they even seen my dog. It cost almost $3,000.00. I couldn't believe that. I think we recieved $150.00 back. AlI can say that they were very professional. Also I believe that their good to the animals, just overly priced. I would take my pets there but I can't afford it.
It will be better to call them, to find the answer. Dr. Mircea Volosin, is amazing surgeon and has a lot of experience.

It depends how much the dog drank. Wine is toxic to dogs. If the dog didn't drink much, monitor their behavior. Seeking a vetenarian is advised.

I board my dogs there often love this place.I also rescue many and this is my to go to place for boarding when I pull a SAPA dog waiting to be transported somewhere else.Highly recommend and they have choices of boarding so the fees vary.I always get a room with a walk out kennel.I board my male rottie there often.Their day ends at 10pm so if you drop your dog off at like 4 pm and pick him or her up before 10pm the next day it's one day boarding.
Call them their team is excellent very cheap and affordable and we'll work it out with you there really cared carrying about the safety the animal not the safety of your bank account

They have all kinds of specialsts on staff. Im sure they do cataract surgery, but you should call to see what days the Eye specialist will be in house. I used to take my dogs and cat to Beckers and were not taken care of right. You should take them Some where else.

Buy some skunk off or mix Dawn dish detergent with baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. Wet area to be washed and work solution into affected area. U may need to use washcloth so it does not get into dogs eyes. Leave on for a few minutes then rinse off. This worked for us.
You shouldn't make your dog go through that pain. I had a blue nose pit, and he looks cute with his ears straight up.
