Would give zero if possible. New management company (FCA Managment) has arrived and slapped a "luxury apartments" title onto the complex without making any changes or upgrades. Orignal lease prices were 1300 and they now charge 2400. Double the price with nothing to show for it. FCA arrived slapped on a new price and called it a day. Its a dated community that is showing its age hard. The new company is just here to collect checks and make no improvements. The on site manager is incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful with no regard for decency or tenant safety. If you want to be price gouged while living in mediocre standards Haddon Hall is for you. This isnt a horrible place but Charleston has far better legitamate luxury apartments for the same price and the staff wont treat you like a dumpster. Avoid this place i promise its not worth the cost. Attached are photos of the luxurious standards you can find here. (Exposed wires, two-tone painted bathrooms, a patio that floods when it drizzles. Truly luxury)

A pretty good deal over all with landlords charging what they do these days, with minor inconveniences. The paint job was sloppy and the painters painted over light switches and towels racks and dripped on the floor. Got the landlord special where they painted the trimmings white but didn't bother to dust before they did so it looks perpetually dirty no matter what. They also charge for valet trash, $25 a month, non optional. You get a tiny garbage can for this service. They also charge "community electricity" (🙄) and now a "community water" charge got added on. Pest control is not included in rent. Landlords keep the place decent but are extremely stingy. The pond they show is also not theirs-they took pictures of the pond that belongs to the complex behind us. Just lots of small annoyances that add up.

Haddon hall Apartments are really nice apartments. We have lived here for 2 years and have not had any issues. These are located in a really nice walkable neighborhood. They have been doing a lot of updates to the apartment complex and the amenities. They had ceiling fans installed on everyone's screened in patios which is super nice in the warm SC summers. They have also started Valet Trash Service. They have remodeled the pool , grilling, and gym areas and re-did the office. Jake the maintenance man is great at his job. Anytime we have any service issues he is prompt to get these issues fixed. Michelle who works in the office is a really great person to deal with as well. She always assists with any issues that you may be having and handles them quickly and in a professional manner.
