We did not have the best experience in receiving leasing/unit info, although the lady working that day did accommodate us with a last minute tour. While I am grateful for that, the experience was still dampened by what felt like microaggressions & some sort of superiority complex.

BED BUGS! And YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THEM! The bed bugs are in walls, they treat an apartment, the bugs move to the connected apartment. Its just ridiculous how poor these apartments are. The base amenities are charged extra over and on top your rent. It was around $70 back when I was there, it might be more now. Personal safety is a joke as I saw a car getting carjacked in front of me. They have visitor parking, and if your visitor do not park in them, they make you pay a $200 fine. And visitor parking is always full, you need to search around the entire place to find visitor parking and walk a pretty long way to the apartment. I understand this place is for students who attend the university and do not want to invest yet in a car, but just beware of the rules there. They have made other UNC Charlotte students pay exorbitant charges at the end of the lease term, so make sure you click a whole bunch of pictures before you leave the apartment. Oh yes, there is just one garbage compactor and you are expected to haul your trash up to 1000 feet from your apartment depending on where it is.
