Sky Tubing is the BEST in Asheville! Whether it's a trip for two or if you have a larger group...they take excellent care of you. We have been river tubing with other companies but once we discovered Sky Tubing back in 2020 it's the ONLY place we ever go!

This was the best river tubing experience I have ever had! The staff is incredibly helpful. At the check-in, we loaded up our full coolers and jumped on the bus. When we were dropped off at the beginning of the float, the staff carried our coolers off of the bus and put them right into the floats and onto the river for us. They connected all 7 of our tubes for us and put the 2 cooler floats in the middle for easy access. Using the stairs, we walked right down and were helped into our floats - so easy! We even got 2 paddles to help us position ourselves on the river. The tubes had bottoms, so for a very cold river - it was perfect! We could splash as much water as we wanted into the bottom. We had an amazing 3ish hour float down the river and pulled off to eat lunch. The only downside was that there weren’t too many easy places to pull off. At the end of the float, the staff was waiting for us and helped us out of our tubes and right onto the stairs. They pulled everything out of the river for us. Then we were back on the bus for a very short ride back to the parking lot. I would call this a luxury float!

This family opened up their tubing business just for us to go down the river on what i would call a memorial tubing trip. They're not open today and they did it just for us in memory of my mom. They met my mom in 2019 when she went tubing with us at age 91. They were so impressed with her because she was 91 and so energetic. She went In 2020 too. Mom died 2021 in July so our family wasn't able to go tubing. This year we all wanted to go in the middle of the week but since some family members now work weekday jobs their business is only open on weekends. So when I spoke to them and told them about mom and How we wanted to do this in her memory Devon had such compassion for me and my family that she said we will make this day happen for you. When we arrived she had a gift of 10 framed pictures of The time we were tubing with mom. They also provided sunflowers my mom's favorite flower and an extra tube for the flowers and Mom's picture. We floated on our 2 1/2 hour trip in the gorgeous sun and blue sky. This family business went above and beyond just making a tubing trip into a memorial dream trip. We highly appreciated them for making this trip happen for us. They touched our hearts and will always be a place we will continue to support. If you want a leisurely beautiful tubing experience and have a family that will treat you like you are part of their family, then Sky Tubing is the company you need to look at. There are other tubing places but Sky tubing also offers reasonable prices And they offer a military discount for the whole family if one person served in the military Another tubing company does not offer the military discount and the cost is at least $5 to $10 more.
