After all discounts they said a regular room for one person on a Monday would be 189.00 plus 11 percent tax. That's outrageous in my opinion. Other guests were also complaining about the front desk clerk who was rude and very unaccomidating. The location is not convenient to access from i81. Try elsewhere.

Nice hotel, easy access location. Just spent 1 night there after watching Nascar race in Richmond.. easy 1.5 hour drive from track. Nice to have breakfast before we started trip home.

This is a wonderful Hampton Inn. I arrived late as usual but Izzy made me feel right at home. She answered all of my questions and even offered great suggestions of places to see and do. I had already stayed in the area, so I was already familiar - her suggestions were spot on. ALL of the staff were wonderful, gracious, and attentive to customer service. Every time I called, they answered the phone - it wasn't some main line service. They made the stay so comfortable that other guests had a cameraderie which is a bonus. It's like staying with friends and that is just how I like it. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel has posted suggestions on being environmentally responsible. The location accessible to highways and also central to attractions. A wonderful experience.
