This place is horrible. Filthy don't know how they can charge money for a room like that. Staff was fine, but didn't seem to have a clue what is going on. I would have been embarrassed to rent a room like that, much less charge any money. See pic below

Our room was large and clean. Beds were comfortable. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful.The location - walking distance to downtown Staunton and Gypsy Hill Park - can't be beat. The neighborhood is lovely.The bathroom was clean, but the toilet was a bit low for my liking. Breakfast was ok, not great. All in all a great stay and I will stay here again.

Positive: The staff was polite and friendly. However, one late night there was someone behind the counter, relaxing and talking casually on her mobile phone. If she worked there she certainly wasn't working then. Negative: The room looked nothing like the picture. There were cigarette burns on the sink and tub. I washed my hair in the sink because I didn't want to get in the shower given it's appearance and how slow the water drained.

Goods: walking distance of anything of interest downtown. Rooms had been vacuumed. Cheap. Nice manager. Bads: rooms smelled of cigarettes. Stairways smelled of urine. Continental breakfast consists of muffins, frozen waffles, and toast.
