Nice theatre! I was a bit confused about where to check in when I got there but was able to get guidance from an employee pretty quickly. Very friendly and prompt staff. Popcorn was fresh and tasted great. Concession prices are astronomical but I guess that's to be expected at any theatre. Theatre floors could use a good mopping but we did catch the last showing of the day so I expect it to be a bit dirty being the end of the day, other than that I really have no complaints. Great place to take all ages to catch a movie.

This is a very nice place. Clean and clean bathrooms. Drinks were tasted the way they are supposed to, sometimes they are not mixed right. Popcorn was very good. They sell beer. I love it but that was my only problem there wasn't any one old enough to sell it. So I couldn't buy one. Lol

The movie was great, prices were comparable to other movie theaters. The staff was friendly but not old enough to sell beer. I wasn't buying by hubby was and they had to page someone. Bathroom was clean, doors need fixing. Theater was clean.

Roanoke's theater scene is as sad as french toast made with tortillas. AMC Classic is no excuse. First off, the "Classic" branding simply means that it hasn't been updated in years. The theater seating smells of decades of sweat and butter. It's not all bad. AMC is on the cheaper side. They offer discounts on Tuesdays, which are slightly cheaper than Regal's Tuesday discount. The service is also generally friendly! AMC Classic is not terrible, but it's in desperate need of renovations. Until that happens, Grandin Theater provides much better value.
