The location is right off the interstate. The room was nice and the beds were comfortable. The main issue was the shower. There was zero water pressure, so trying to wash the shampoo out of your hair is hard when half the water is still coming out of the tub spout. When in the elevator chatting with other guest, they had the same problem so it just wasn’t our room. The hot breakfast served was overly salty, but the fresh fruit was nice and fresh and there was a good selection of yogurt.

The room was clean and had 2 queen-sized beds. The bathroom was large and well lit. You don't get daily cleaning of your room; only when you checkout. The pool was closed when we came back to the hotel this afternoon. It was very quiet which I appreciated. There were a couple of things I didn't like. I checked my bank account on the 1st evening we stayed here and they had already charged me for the 3 nights we were staying. Another thing that was difficult was the location. On a couple of occasions, we almost got onto I-81 because the entrance to the hotel is close to the on ramp of I-81. When you are coming from Salem to the hotel, you'll be tempted to take the 1st road on the left but you need to look for the next road as it leads to the hotel entrance.

Over all the stay was fine very clean ,staff friendly. It was my wife and I anniversary and we decided to take our kids and I for a day vacation and pool time. And a nice dinner. BUT what was never related in booking the room that there was a 250.00 deposit just becouse we where local and we , I am retired now and on a fixed budjet. Well the dinner now was out of the question and as of right now the deposit has not went back on my card. My wife family lives in myrtle beach and they get a lower rate all over there, just for living there , what if a wife and husband just want a night out . This was the worst ever. Even tho staff where nice place was nice and clean room where clean. But getting that surprise when checking in was too much after tell children we where going to have a nice pool day they had it but nothing else. I will surely let people know about you do not want local business.

Positive: Rooms and lobby were updated. Rooms featured plenty of convenient places to charge electronics. Breakfast was delicious and featured a variety of options. Negative: Our room was adjacent to the cleaning staff closet. There were lots of loud door slams as they began work at 7am.
