I have been a patient at Lakeland for about 2 weeks after I had a fall at home. There are so many of the staff that I want to thank for my speedy recovery. Housekeeping who kept my room and the facility clean I would like to thank Fausto and Maribel. In maintenance I would like to thank Ashman who quickly fixed things and would always give a friendly greeting when he saw me in the hallway or outside. In the kitchen I would like to thank Gigi and Louis who made sure I got the meals I asked for and served delicious food. I would like to thank my wonderful aides Shawn and Niquita who were both so sweet and took such wonderful care of me and assisted me as I needed it. Nurses who took such great care of me are Karen, Stacy, Carmelita and Denise. I would like to extend a gracious thank you to the wonderful PT staff who had me up on my feet, in particular Nart, Alyx and Anna with the green eyes. Also, I would like to thank my social worker Gillian. I never had a social worker who was so available and worked well with my daughter as well as myself. The staff here are just so wonderful and caring and I would highly recommend this facility.

It was extremely difficult choosing a rehab but Lakeland staff were truly incredible. There was real care. Yes, we had some hiccups along the way but they were addressed in a timely manner. The rehab team was phenomenal. They were friendly and patient. To mention a few, Shannon, Abe, and Mira were always smiley and pleasant to deal with. Some aides were better than others but in the big picture this place is put together with responsive administration and caring people.

My mom went to Lakeland Healthcare Center for rehabilitation after having a complete laryngetomy and pharyngetomy due to throat cancer she stay at the center for 3 weeks and was taking care of wonderfully by the whole staff. I would highly recommend you or your family members that needs rehabilitation and or acute care to this facility.

This is a wonderful facility!! Our dad (88) left a previous rehab because they said they couldn’t do anything more for him and that his mobility would not improve. We took him to Lakeland it was recommended from a previous employee. After a 2 month stay that got our dad back on his feet. They care truly care about their patients. They work with the families and communicate with all that is being done. Our personal experience was very good and we recommend this facility based on our wonderful experience.
