Take patients here all the time super sad zoo with poorly taken care of animals. Makes me concerned for other people they take care of …

My mom has been at Menorah Park since March 2022. This has been a very difficult experience. She is more “ with it” than the other residents in her unit. She gets very little stimulation since there are almost no activities. I feel there needs to be more hands on things for residents to do. She had requested to see a doctor. The doctor came last Monday which was Rosh Hashana so she was with family. The doctor left a note that he would come this Monday. I usually take her out on Monday but did not do so because it was very important that she see the doctor. When I went to get her today she told me the doctor never came. I have asked if my mom could do activities with another unit and I would accompany her. I was told no. On the positive side my mom gets a lot of attention from her unit nurse Laura. I wish Laura could be there more often. She’s wonderful!

They seem to know all the residents by name.

I worked along side some of the most hard working talented dedicated and passionate people on earth! I miss them, the residents and their family members who's lives I interacted with and became a part of mine as well!

Depending on the size and demeanor of the animal, pets are welcome to visit campus and we have several therapy animals that come often to greet our residents. For more information on your particular situation, please contact your loved one's pavilion coordinator to make sure it's okay.
