My letter to the CEO about my experience with Dr. Tiffany Jones of Signature Health in Beachwood, OH. “I thank you so much for linking with me. I was hoping to share with you my very first experience with Signature Health today. I went to the Beachwood location and met with Dr. Tiffany Sherrae Jones, who by my research has been a Neurologist and Psychiatrist for nearly 15 years (so I assume she knows her field of study pretty well). I had anticipated this appointment. My doctor quit his practice, so I waited months and drove 40 minutes to see Dr. Jones. I had a delightful talk with Jessica (the nurse) while I waited for the doctor, until I was put on a virtual chat with Dr. Jones who was very late, arrogant, dismissive and extremely abusive in her care manner. She made it known that she had another appointment to get to within the first three minutes of our conversation, showing me that she had no intention of understanding who I was or what I needed. I have a combination of ADD/ADHD. So when I get nervous It is very difficult for me to speak, let alone piece together in conversation a complete thought as I tried to answer her questions. The stigma attached to my diagnosis alone makes it incredibly hard to be listened to, especially when you can’t get the person you are speaking with to stop berating you. She stepped on just about everything I had to say, raising her voice with a cold flat tone when I was unable to get to the point, because I was stuttering from stress. I verbally told her at least three times that she was upsetting me, causing me anxiety, while placing my hand on my chest to add emphasis to the upset she was causing with her behavior. Each time I expressed that I was overwhelmed, because of what she was doing, she responded using phrases to let me know that it was my fault (fyi people with ADHD self-deprecate enough-add that to the current emotion in the situation). Phrases like “WELL YOUR’E NOT ANSWERING MY QUESTIONS; THAT’S NOT WHAT I ASKED YOU” angrily and cold, scolding as if I was a battered child trying to explain my way out of a corner. In her position of authority, I was vulnerable. What she did with her power, was abusive. I am a teacher, I am a mother and I am a logical, human being. I have also worked in the medical field and taken care of people who were vulnerable as well. I am 37 years old and I have had ADHD my entire life, yet have never been pressured this recklessly by a care provider. I thank God in Heaven, that I do not have severe mental issues and am not suicidal. I had to remove myself from the room and walk out of the appointment. I held my composure leaving, but what she did was borderline abusive. She battered someone that she knows by profession, could not defend herself in the moment. I just needed to make sure I made this clear to someone who would understand the gravity of what happened. Thank you very much…. Hi Jonathan, a nice woman by the name of Shayla from Client Services reached out to apologize profusely about my experience with this doctor. I appreciate her candor. However, I am troubled at the thought of Dr. Jones being able to intimidate/bully/psychologically abuse another patient. “

Great place to work! Nurse Supervisor was kind, thoughtful, respectful and professional! Psychiatrist I worked with was very attentive to clients and made sure response was given within hours of phone call from clients! She was very smart and prescribed most prudent medications and went above and beyond for clients. Co-workers were very helpful and supportive!

If I could give this place negative stars I would. I went here to seek help via telehealth with a psychiatrist Tiffany Jones and my therapist whom I forgot the name of. Tiffany did not help me whatsoever. She was very dismissive of my concerns; she would give me generic advice " just eat less to lose weight" - it doesn't work like that when you're severely depressed. She didn't seem interested in helping me with my issues at hand, very dismissive, very nonchalant like she didn't even want to be there. I expressed my concerns about the medication she was giving me and the absolute horrible side effects it gave me. She kept trying every single anti-depressant she could get from the same family of medications after 4 of which didn't work at all. She didn't seem receptive about prescribing me from something from different med family group. Why did you bother studying medicine? If it was purely for the money, she should've chosen a different field of work, but I digress. My therapist often made everything about her, she mentioned once that her friend group told her this and somehow was still lacking that self-awareness during our sessions together. She gave me a lot of generic advice that you could get from a basic self-help book. She wasn't able to work with my work schedule. All in all, she wasn't a good therapist. Don't bother replying to me your same generic response about "feedback". We know you don't care.
