The volunteers here are wonderful people, almost as great as all the animals that pass through their doors. As a dog trainer I get the privilege to work with some of their arrivals on the days I voluntee; there's no such thing as a bad dog.

Very caring and friendly staff. Very nice facility, much better than any other animal shelter I have seen, and it is a no kill shelter. The staff genuinely cares for each animal there. I volunteer there with the dogs and love every minute I'm there. Unlike most other shelters the staff here makes sure animals being adopted go to good homes that provide what the animals need, not just what the adopter wants. Definitely a five star facility.

Went there to pick up our neighbors dog, after she was spade. She was well taken care of and they seemed very nice! Didn't have much interaction though!

If you can, you should download the app called Petfinder. If you put in your zip code it pulls up the closest shelter pets to you. Almost Home has LOTS of animals listed there which you can ask about. Hope that helps!
