my experience here was terrible. im not sure if Mr. Jean still works there, but when i was there, he was telling us how we are ill because we reject the lord, shaming us, and threatened to give a girl with tourette's syndrome "the shot" because she was experiencing tics.

I want my expensive personal belongings. $2000,00 knecklace my dad gave me before passing. I guess someone helped themselves to it. Couldn't find it when I called. I am reporting it to the detectives at theft. They need to be investigated by the GBI. I am the one. This is what happed after a so called fall. Five stitches under their care. Criminal!!!

I didn’t want to be there. The first couple of days were really rough. Lori was my first nurse and she was AMAZING! I wouldn’t have gotten through my first day without her. I was having a low day and didn’t want to talk. I wanted to cry and be alone. However Dionna pulled me right out of it! She knew I needed to talk and because of her kindness I was able to overcome my trigger. Brittany welcomed me. She made me feel welcome. Ietta was beyond amazing. There are not enough words to describe how she helped me. The ladies are so amazing! Rachel is a social worker and she is amazing!!!!! She is a very hard worker and I will miss her!! I wish I could just talk to her everyday! My support group grew and I could not have asked for better people! I love them!

I volunteered myself for the Outpatient Womens Program and it was eye-opening. It’s a trauma based program which makes you feel like you are heard and that you’re not alone in this world.

about 2-3 days. My daughter got there on a Friday and i was able to visit her on Sunday then Wednesday.
Yeah, when I was there as a teen it was no picnic, they put me on medicine I didn’t need, to the point that I felt like I could better treat myself than them, and that’s saying a lot. The staff would resort to intimidation if needed and seemed not to realize who REALLY pays their checks
No weapons or knifes was allowed in any way or sharps contained by office staff when was visited
I actually pulled a trick and snuck my phone in, but my roommate snitched on me, so my phone was confiscated, searched, and returned to my parents.
How I got sent here twice and both times i only got worse
It has the same basic dress code as a public school, plus no drawstrings, belts, shoelaces, hard boots,or anything else that can be used to harm yourself or others.
it depends on what you are talking about, inpatient can be 5-14 days, outpatient is usually 7 weeks
They will tell that Ridgeview is a Hospital. It is not! Just a fabricated AA
I don't understand your question,SSDI is a form of payment. Are you referring to Medicare insurance.
I strongly recommend Ridgeview, as I was a patient there. From what I can tell, Ridgeview has a great program for young adults.
PLEASE DO NOT ADMIT YOURSELF HERE LITERALLY ANYTHING IS BETTER THAN GOING HERE. Best of luck
Yes the cottage I was in was. The night staff are not as friendly and used to doing nothing. Of course there are levels of mental illnesses so it varies where your placed. It is safe and from what I have heard from other patients is that its one of the better ones in the metro area
It depends. If the patient is Inpatient, they can't use the phones whenever, but for only 10 minutes at a time. They have visitation days and clothes can only be brought at there time of admission and those can be dropped off at the Access Center. If they are in residence there, they don't have any access to the phones if they are young adult. Visitation there is on Sundays and Tuesdays and you can bring them stuff like clothes, food, and anything that is on a list of things they can have. And you bring that directly to them at visitation, but it will be checked over up at the house. Hope this helps!
I would be willing to join
