Good place for birders to stay. Barbara at the front desk is incredible! All the stars are for her. She put breakfast out for us early every morning, so that we could have coffee, oatmeal, hot sandwiches, and yogurt before our long day of birding began. Location is super convenient for several birding hotspots. Took away one star for my bed which needs updating.

Positive: Nice Hotel, a tad worn but very clean. Staff is super nice, nice little breakfast as well. Quiet and peaceful. Bed was super comfortable!!! Pool was open and very clean. Didn¿t use it due to time. Super close to Ft Huachuca entrance and VFW!  Negative: Rooms do need to be aired out more. A/C unit is pretty loud

Positive: Great location. Grounds clean. Nice pool. Clean room. Internet access (though wasn't given directions on how to connect with my laptop but figured it out after connecting with my android phone). Negative: The birds both doves and some little birds woke me up at 6am and 5am respectively. Not the hotel's fault but didn't like that. The tub had a non-stop drip. The TV was hard to figure out. No instruction given on how to hook up to the internet w/ a laptop.

3.5 stars. When I checked in yesterday evening the young man gave 5 star service. The room is a solid 4 stars. Very clean, well stocked, cable, very hot water, low price, microwave, refrigerator, comfortable bed. Quiet, I slept great. A couple of small things in the room are broken but functional dropping it to 4. I've come to expect limited breakfasts due to covid, but the only option was oatmeal packages. I do love oatmeal, but alone I don't call it breakfast! I smiled at the lady at the desk and got nothing in return. When traveling for business starting the day off right is important and a smile, greeting, and apology for breakfast would have made a solid 4 stars. I do recommend this hotel, make sure you plan on outsourcing breakfast. The room is as pictured on the website and I'll attach pics of the little things that brought it down.
