Sure! There's a rope and buoys that shows the edge of the swim area so it's not like you'll float away. There isn't a lifeguard but there's a park ranger in the building. I suppose you could call and ask to be sure but, it's not the ocean; It's safe.

You can call the park by Googling the number but I do know that it doesn't cost anything to get in or to park. There is no pool at Pinchot. There is a public swimming area at the Quaker Race day use area and a nice beach in the campground for campers. The swimming areas, according to the park guide, are open late May to mid September. Both swimming areas are ADA accessible.

Reserve a pavilion for a 'family gathering'. Don't mention a 'wedding'. Some parks frown on that. Pinchot is a pretty place with different locations around the lake. Take a drive around all parts of it if you haven't yet. Good luck!

Pinchot does not have pontoon boat rentals, in fact I've never seen a pontoon boat on the lake! They rent- row boats, canoes, kayaks, pedal boats, paddle boards, and paddle BIKEs, which look like fun! Also on the conewago side, they have, bikes for trail use, and disc golf (frisbees)
