Nice park! Lake area is beautiful! Visitor Center building has great information on park.

Great trail down to natural bridge - moderate to strenuous. And take a drive to the lake- it's beautiful. Wish we had a boat! Unless the ranger is around, no restroom.

There are spots that had rvs, but with the size of the one way road and the curves it has, even IF they allow them that large, I would not recommend it. I was backing my truck at night about a month ago and they did not have a ditch marked. My truck fell in, resulting in my truck slamming into a tree. Over $1,000 in damage. That's without a trailer.
If u r a SC resident and 65 or older, there is 35% discount off the $18 price /night. Friday and Saturday nights are more. If you register o line it is slightly more.
Water and Electric at the campsites with a central dump station. Nice Campground nice park
There is a dump station at the bath house. Full site.
Yes. Walk down the trail or drive to the kayak launch. Plenty of room to swim and relax
The service isn't really good out there, but the various activities to do will distract you from it
Unfortunately it was too windy and cold when we camped for us to fish. However, I'm told you can expect to catch bass, bream, crappie or catfish.
Yes, car camping. also they have hike in sites as well. Approximately 2 mile hike in.
A couple of the turns are pretty tight, better talk to a ranger to make sure before you book it
The trails are open sunrise to sunset. The office/ learning center is open during the day hours vary.
It looks like $18 a night with a 2 night minimum. If you go to the website click make a reservation and it will show you sites and the prices.
Call the park and they have sites with water and electric or they have a few primitive camp sites too
Sa-Th 9am-6pm; Fri 9am-8pm (extended to 9pm M-Su during Daylight Saving Time) OFFICE 11am-noon & 4-5pm, daily
Yes
There is a small gift shop in the Rangers station but I don't believe they have children's books there.
There is no admission to swim. The best place to swim is at the end of the road to the boat launch, on your left just before the launch area.
There are 4 lakeside campsites at this park. They are however a 1.5 mile hike. One way. Awesome campsites though. Worth the hike. There is also a local secret very nearby. I won't say what it is. You have to go there and look around.
There is a launch area for canoe or kayaks. The best place to put in at keowee if staying at the park is the fall creek boat lauch areas
There are rv sites with a limited stay.
1.5 hr drive to Spartanburg. If you go 11, where hwy 14 and 11 intersect, there is a great mom and pop restaurant on the sw corner called The Junction. Good place to eat. Also 13.7 miles north on hwy 11 from the state park entrance, there is a great spot for pictures of table rock to your left with a red barn for accent.
