So here is what I have after 5 shows here this year. The venue is great and I have no real issues with that. Staff is friendly quick and attentive. Prices on food and drinks are not the highest but they also are no the lowest. 3 dollar waters are a little nuts though.Takee that for what it is. The venue does not have no horse play rules. If a show is heavy people are probably getting hurt. Out of the metal shows I have gone too each show has seen people go down hard from people swinging and kicking over just the normal pushing mosh pit. I watched a guy get jumped for pushing someone back into the pit he was not in when he got hit initially. (Not sure if he was alright or not) security did nothing to the dudes who did it. Here is my biggest con if you go here for a metal unless you are standing in the hall or directly at the bar you are getting hit by someone in the pit. I understand these are metal shows but there is not pit etiquette or rules posted on not hiring or being near those not involved .There is no avoiding this and security tries their best but cannot control everyone. I will continue to support the venue as it is a great place that host some awesome shows but I do believe some heavy rule changes need to happen for pits to keep people safer.

Yes I called down there about 3 weeks ago to set up a day for a wedding reception and I spoke to a bartender who was cordial but then she forwarded to some guy that's running it named Jonas who never call me back never attempted to call me back so it's my recommendation that you ever want to hold an event in HMAC don't because they're upper management is really slow and very rude.

Went there last Saturday from Jersey and wanted to go to a show as an early birthday present for myself. Very nice place, love the vibe there. The show I saw was pretty good. Unfortunately I was only there for a short time cause I went a little over my limit. The people that worked there saw that I wasn't feeling well and they all took me to the back and were watching over me until I felt better. They were very kind to me. Security was very professional. One of the best places I've ever been to. Definitely plan on coming back here again. Thank you guys for being helping me out. They really do take care of their customers.

There is no seats, standing only
Hi Debra, The building is fully ADA compliant. We have a ramp entrance to the front of the building with a ADA bathroom in the lobby. We also have an elevator to take you to the second floor Capitol Room Venue. You will have no problem in the building and can access with ease the restaurant and bar as well. Hope you enjoy your visit.

They have seating, but there's limited lounge style chairs. The last time I went I saw some folks bring collapsible chairs
The place does have its moments.... But the winter time is not much of an issue, it the summer when everyone comes out to play............... 😏
On their website, it says the band cancelled. Don't know how accurate that is though. I saw a band unpacking on 3rd street as I was driving home.

They have a calendar on their web site that's pretty well updated. I don't think there is a specific comedy night, but they've got events fairly often.
