WORST POST OFFICE EVER- Especially for business owners . Trust the reviews.

I went to the post office location at 1915 Fulton St, Brooklyn, NY 11233 today at around 1:40pm and a employee at the front door told me that the office was closed for one hour due to being understaffed. Previous to going to the location I checked their google to make sure they were opened. I had a heavy package which I walked several blocks with to mail. The package had a prepaid label and just needed to be dropped of. I asked the employee if she can take the package. She refused and said she could not because she could not leave the door. The previous week the same situation took place. Me and other individuals came to the location and were told by a employee at the door that the office would be closed for 30 minutes. This is completely unacceptable, inconsiderate, and unprofessional. During both visits people complained that they wasted gas, their lunch breaks, their time, to come to come to this location. This location is obviously being poorly managed and the employees and manager are free to open and close the post office whenever they feel like it without any consequences. If they are understaffed they know ahead of time. Just like every other organization they have a roster of employees that will be working each day, and should post ahead of time on google, the post office front door, and voicemail the times they will be closed so customers do not waste their time coming to the location. Also if they are understaffed they should have the employee the front door helping customers instead of standing around. The manager and employees at this location are obviously doing whatever they want and not holding to USPS standards because there is no oversight for this location. There is a reason the location has a one star review on google and several other other review websites. Customers complain and nothing has changed. That is why those working at this location continue to do whatever they want and still get paid. This post office is useless to customers and needs to be closed down!

Call the station and see If they can check maybe it didn't have an apt number or something.
That place is horrible no one can give a right answer. Even mail that have a tracking number can't get the where about think someone stole it not cool
Mail is delivered the day after a holiday, however due to the volume of mail there is no time stamp as to when the mail will arrive. Hope this helps you!!!
They could be delivering their routes first, then their overtime.

As to speak to one of the supervisor about this matter, and if this keeps happening, take a picture of where they keep putting your maik, you may need to call 311 and make a complaint that way and also have the person who's box they keep putting it in make a complaint also to 311.

It doesn't say on the website that they are close, nor online, i called and the phone os busy.
Speak to the manager at your local post office, let him or her know what is going on with no mail being delivered to your address and then see if anything changes. If not you call 311 and tell the operator you want to make a complaint on this post office, follow up with your complaint. And if that still dont help you must go to or write to you local Congressman or senator Or even the mayor. Hope this helped .
