This is a wonderful place to stay. Right in the hub of downtown, everything is within walking distance. The staff...my gosh, the staff!!! Everyone we encountered was excellent, helpful, cheery and simply lovely. The hotel is well maintained, comfortable and clean. This is the hotel you need to stay in while in Durango. We enjoyed it tremendously.

We have stayed at several Wyndham resorts through our ownership and this has been one of our favorites. Our room was very clean with all of the amenities we could ask for. The front desk staff was wonderful during check in and every time we dealt with them. We had a leak in our bathroom and when we reported it to the front desk, they immediately sent the maintenance crew to fix it. They were so appreciative that we immediately brought it to their attention, that they chose us as Guests of the day and gave us a nice call d and goodie basket. We have been having a wonderful time here in Durango and would love to come again and stay at this resort.

I thought it was over the top booking a suites with kitchen because we weren't gonna cook but it ended up being nice because we had a lot more space. We ended up doing takeout and it was great having a dining table and TV in the living space. The bedroom was also a separate room with door so it blocked more outside hallway noise. The bed was super comfortable and we slept like babies. The location was perfect because the narrow gauge railroad, shops and restaurants are walking distance. We got breakfast at the local bagel shop each morning that was around the corner.
