Nice beds..basically pretty clean. AC was not cooling well in room. Carpets in need of cleaning. Had a room next to the elevator and ice and soda machine...too noisy into the late hours. Heard elevator all night. The manager and staff are great! They work hard to accommodate the customers and do a great job considering some construction going on. Parking lot needs to be redone for sure and the building needs to have fresh paint. The blackout shades are starting to rip and dry out. I hope the new owner gets this place fixed up because Durango could use another well kept Hotel with the prices they are asking. And of course the manager and staff are well worth it.

I used to work here. Service has gone down since my day. We weren't allowed to have 3 adults & 2 kids in the room. Then, she tried to sell me another room with 2 kings. Why would we need such a large & expensive room for just one person. Every other Super 8 that we stayed in, an the Comfor Inn right next to them, allowed all 5 to stay in a double room. Not happy, because we were worried we couldn't get another room. Comfort Inn just down the road is a better place to stay.

Positive: The room was clean with the exception of behind the bed. I checked for bed bugs and saw no signs but it needed vacuuming. Room was spacious. Had mini fridge and microwave. Negative: The outside only had one sign, high up in the air. Not very pleasant or welcoming. I considered leaving. But all in all, room and bed were clean,and nice hot shower!

Sheets were dirty and mold was on the floor boards in bathroom. Had to ask for new towels as they had brown stains also. This hotel was once good not it a dump. Pay extra for better customer service and hygiene at another hotel.
