Great place to catch a show. It's intimate and the prices are not over priced. The staff was all extremely friendly I would definitely recommend the Tabernacle for any live show!!!
Tim Copeland
Awesome venue for any concert!

I have a bad knee due to a sports injury and was told the balcony seating outside of the first three rows was general admission. Got told the same when I showed up early to get good seats. I cannot stand for the entirety of a show. I have been moved no less than three times since I arrived to worse and worse seats because the people doing the seating had no idea that the seats in the balcony had been ticketed and sold. I have been coming here since I was 14 and have never had such a bad time. The management has gone down hill and these people have no idea what is going on with ticketing and seating. I am in pain and upset because I arrived early for a good seat due to my injury and they did not teel us the truth. Idk who is to balme. Them or ticketmaster, but someone should have known the facts and given us correct info.

Yes first come first serve
20 minutes
There are very many. The Marriott Marquis is very nice. Pretty much any hotel down there is really good
Not in my experience. But if you can get the tickets on your phone, they accept mobile tickets
I would go to the venue website and contact them through their booking service or call/email them directly.
Hey! If you can still dig up your emails for the concert, mine (for another concert at the tabernacle) had a section in the fine print regarding what they would do incase of the whole concert being shut down due to Covid.
Nothing. Both are "GA" general admission.
Yes, they do! You'll just need to ask a Guest Services person for the guest password
The Tabernacle borders Centennial Olympic Park so there is plenty of paid parking on the street and in parking garages within a block of the venue.
You can park right on the street. It's meter parking
Doors usually open an hour before showtime. If you want a close seat definitely get there before doors open.
If you like to stand go for the floor. But 1st row on the second level is awesome. Almost all seats are awesome.
Unless there are specific instructions to bring paper tickets you should be fine!
Seat selection when purchasing tickets on line. Some are open seating. Arrive early
To the right of the front door.
That's a shame. It would be neat if this venue would be used to have pipe organ concerts again. Albeit maybe with a variety of music, not just the religious and classical genres.
i d and phone with barcode all you need
No
As long as your child has a ticket for the event
Proof of vaccination nor negative COVID results were required when I recently visited The Tabernacle.
You will need to make an appointment with the hiring staff, or go to Live Nation.com and apply there. They typically have bands bring their own products, and vendors, and the drinks are supplied and staffed through a contracted company. It may not be possible.
For ADA seating, you can purchase any ticket and then talk to a Guest Services person at the door when you arrive for the show! The Tabernacle is a historical venue so please keep in mind that it may take a moment to figure out the best way to accommodate each person.
Hi Crystal! Most shows are all ages. You can double-check on a show's age limit at our website here: http://www.tabernacleatl.com/
They'll usually put when doors open on the ticket or the advertisement for the specific show. I believe that Atlanta has a noise ordinance, and I think that it says 11:30 p.m. is the time you can't hear music from outside. I may be off about that though.
On the street at a meter or in one of the nearby parking garages. You'll have to pay to park.
Yes, both. Plus they have upper and lower seating. Along with a bar in the standing area.
Yes the northbound train
Yes. You can also purchase tickets or annual passes through the LiveNation website.
Normally yes, if you have them rolled up, it should not be a problem!
You cant put chairs in the front. The best bet is to either buy a balcony seat and bring binoculars or to get there early and stay in the front. The balcony seats on the sides are pretty close to the stage practically on it. You get a side view of the performer but it's really close.
It varies by the time of the show & what day of the week it is. If you get their phone number off their website and call, use the voice prompt system, they have a recording with that information and the tentative band schedules. Also I think it had the times for doors open on their ticketing site.
Not a service but Maybe a venue fee
I am in love with general admission/standing honestly.
Yes
All the seats are at the top so you'll have a good view from anywhere and everybody on the ground would be standing and still have a good view
Not sure. But when I went for another show and for the floor tickets started at $50 and went up to $200. If you do the floor it's not gonna make a difference because it's all standing. I believe the balcony might cost a little more.
You should call Tabernacle directly and get the answer ..every show is different
Looks like you do have seating at floor level for this event. But generally it's like the other person said where the first people to get there get the best spots.
Hi, I am a native of Atlanta. While don't have a need to stay in hotels, i have visited most of these you have listed and they are all great, although some are a bit pricey. But you get what you pay for.
Omni!!! Great place!!!
I've seen a speaker from the balcony before and had a good view of him, in addition to the viewscreen
Yes
I got in line at 3 for a coheed and cambria concert.
Best to call Tabernacle box office directly and ask to be sure..have fun !
I searched setlist.fm and saw no dates for him on april 23rd anywhere.. maybe it was a cancellation?
Soon
You should get one soon depending on the date of the event. Say if the date is tomorrow it will be sent 2 days before. Thats how it was for Meet and Greet for some bands ive seen.
Yes just call the main office
I used tha site to ask this question. O yhink hrs s you tuber
There are a number of paid lots near the Tabernacle but many are multi-level lots where you may have some difficulty getting around. There are some uncovered lots but they are usually pretty small at around 30 spaces. Your best bet would be to arrive well before the doors open and hope that one of the uncovered lots has space. If you are going to a weekend show then you would want to arrive even earlier. There are plenty of bars/restaurants within walking distance if you habe to kill some time. Level 73 in the Westin is a great place for a drink with awesome views. Worst case you could find a shopping center/grocery store with lots of parking and Uber from there. If I recall correctly there are a few shopping centers along North Ave. or Ponce de Leon. I can't vouch for the safety of those hours late at night.
Just depends on how good a spot you want and if the show is sold out. If you want rail get there an hour or two before doors. If you are good with 20 ft or so off rail you can show up pretty close to when doors open and end up with a pretty good spot. We just saw Sylvan Esso there (sold out), showed up right as doors opened and were maybe 100 people deep in line. Hit the potties, checked out merch, got drinks, and got a spot in the middle of the floor halfway between the stage and soundboard. Fortunately the Tabernacle always brings an awesome crowd and no matter where you end up you should have a blast. I've been late for shows there and have as much fun in the back row of a balcony as I've had on the floor.
Ask people affiliated with the concert also arrive early to have to time to find parking
Really early if you have regular tickets and about an hour to hour and a half if you have the fast pass/fast line tickets
They didn't when I went
If it's an assigned seat, they will have that section roped off and they will direct you to the seat
I would reccomend contacting the website you purchased from first, if they do not resolve it call ahead to the Tabernacle. I wouldn't imagine that the person selling tickets at the Tabernacle has the authority to allow something like that.
No, and it's very crowded and uncomfortable especially when people choose not to shower and they are literally up your ass.
Good Question. They have a place where you can check your coat in so you don't have to keep up with it.. if it's a phone or something like that, I am not sure. The coat check is outside the main floor entrance.
Nothing with a detachable lens or a lens longer than 6". That is the house rule but each act is different and the guidelines are subject to change.
Nothing is cheap in Atlanta. Get drunk before you come or bring a flask, lol!
Tons of rooms within a walk/short cab ride. The question will be what else is also going on during the date of your event. Those rooms dont sit empty. Conventions, marts, and other promoted events keep them full. If you want a room, you need to reserve it early!
Yes my wife and I just attended NF concert last week and it was like that. You can sit anywhere you want except the VIP
Are back packs allowed to be 'checked in' - like to a coat check area, or locker prior to entering concert area?
No chairs. Don't last that long
Very safe and always a lot of security staff around. There is a lot of parking close by.
Within the first hour of the doors opening. Usually stays pretty open until the main band plays.
You should should contact the Tabernacle directly to conduct business. Good luck.
As far as i know they do not oversell. That said, they generally have a little wiggle room even when shows are sold out.
There are seats upstairs in the balcony areas. However the first balcony usually has VIP seating reserved in the very middle part but yes there is a lot of seating. Probably more than half of the venue is seating
I believe the curfew is 11pm.
This info will be stated from the ticket provider before purchasing. That being said, I have seen tons of young teenagers at rock concerts in the ATL (shorty what).
