What hotels are near the Tabernacle

There are very many. The Marriott Marquis is very nice. Pretty much any hotel down there is really good

There are plenty of options within walking distance. I would check Google or any of the booking sites. We recently lucked out and got a room at the Westin for $105 on Hotwire.

Westin is the best. And can walk to Tabernacle in five minutes
