They do not have any appointments available and they are not very helpful either. My travel time is approaching very quickly and I do not know what to do.... Edit to my previous review: I was able to book an appointment as someone had cancelled last minute. I had a very good experience there, and was advised to provide a missing document via email. I understand that the consulate is very busy, especially after COVID since everyone is trying to travel, so my apologies for the bad review! :)

I give one star because I was able to reach a “live” person after calling numerous times for weeks. The personnel started off with the exact words “ first of all” and it was not a pleasant experience and continued throughout the conversation. Although I pressed for English, after mentioning the document in German, the conversation switched to German by the person responding to my question. Disrespectful is a fitting adverb to express the attitude of their employee over the phone. After being told that there is no way to accompany my request “for my own convenience”, she suggested to take my number and email just so another person could email the same answer with an impolite undertone. It was definitely not professional.

Could be faster, but great otherwise. Great service! :)

For parking, we do the lot at 303 Peachtree Center Ave, the entrance we use is ten feet north of Big Kahuna, and walk past Pacific Rim Bistro. $2 for every 20 minutes. https://g.page/BigKahunaAtlanta?share There is a metal detector, and a super nice guard who has been there 16 years. He will point you to the tiny lockers for your phone and keys, and you will get a key to that locker.
No, that is not possible anymore
I would just call there. Questions do not cost anything.
If you see "Message" in Google Maps, you will be able to contact a business directly. This question/answer area is supported by the community, who may not be as prompt or as accurate. For your question, the website should answer it, quite specifically, and when I have called them I eventually get someone helpful.

The website explain this in detail. This is a biometric passport. Best is a professional picture. Just like US drivers licence. Cost a couple buck's but this is cheaper than having to make another appointment and go again.
Go to charlotte they are friendlier there
If you have a valid stamped US visa, you dont need a transit visa or anything.
If visa is stamped in ur passport then no u don't need Frankfurt transit visa
You can not extended pasports anymore. You get a new one. You need to do an appointment via the website of the German consulate in Atlanta
Don't bring a laptop. It's too big to fit into the lockers. A phone is fine.
I am an Electrician that works in the building and I don't have any experience with the Consulate , sorry
I had a similar problem. I forgot my passport in the taxi. So I go to the consulate and ask for help. The staff there were immediately active and after 12 hours I had my passport again.
Call the consulate and ask them what to do.
Plenty of places within 5 min walking.. but may be pricy... U might do better staying a bit away and Uber..
Just call. Questions do not cost anything.
This would not help you... But i got my business Visa in about 2 weeks. Toughest part is to get an appointment.
I just had my passport renewed 8 weeks ago and Derrick's response is the accurate. Three weeks for the expedited is also what I got.
A lot of documents are needed and they're listed on the website. Off the top of my head, I remember needing the kids' birth certificates, proof of parenthood, both parents OR a note from the parent who isn't present confirming approval of the new passport, parent ID, passport photo (meeting German standards), and the old passport. Oh! And proof of residence for the parent. I'm sure I'm missing something. I'd set aside an hour for the appointment. Parking, security and last minute copies (which can be done nearby) took up some of that time and we were there about 45 minutes early. They send the passport in the mail.
Hi I think you should go to the German embassy and ask them about that ;-)
Yes and no... Parking is under SunTrust parking, they don't have their own parking. It's about $6
I was there over 1 month ago still waiting for my passport
Just your passport. US Citizens have up to 90 days in the Schengen States (also Germany) before having to apply for any type of visa.
NO
About $ 260.- in US currency. Proof of US legal status and residence. Birth certificate of course. Plus...a bit of patience. Before I forget, absolutely must have made a appointment via. Website. Need to do this of a computer. IPhone or tabled does not work > library works. 👍
If you get really complicated its best to pay to talk to a visa/citizenship lawyer on the ohone.
