I also visited the passport-related business, and I was really impressed to see how the person at the information desk was very kind to everyone even though they were very busy. I almost couldn't do the passport work because of my mistake, but the passport manager also took care of my convenience and handled the work in 10 minutes at Korean speed. I'm going to feel the warmth of Korea :) I highly recommend the Atlanta Consulate!!!

Family Relations Registration 10/7 3pm Reservation After driving for 6 hours and 40 minutes, I arrived at the Atlanta consulate and took four documents: marriage registration, birth registration, loss of nationality, and renunciation of nationality.

Recently I renewed my passport here. I had unpleasant memories when I went to the Consulate General long ago. But this visit changed my prejudices. I think they are doing an excellent job under the new leadership of the Consul General, Yoonjoo Park. All the employees were kind and professional. It took only 15min to finish the whole process. Very impressed, and they deserve five stars this time. The only thing that remains room for improvement is location and parking. Moving it to a more accessible and convenient location would be nice.

Don't know what the fuss is about this place. Yes the appointment is harder to get, but if you are desperate, they will work with you. Knock! Their location is 21st floor btw.

The Atlanta Consulate is famous for being unfriendly! In particular, female employees who issue general civil petition documents..

I hope you can answer the phone. What you're doing is always unable to connect to the phone, and even if you leave a voicemail, you don't get a reply. I have to go to work. What if I do this?

I don't know before that. You seem to be doing very well right now. I’m very happy. We are grateful that we have handled the business safely with the consideration of the staff at the reception desk.

There is a person at the reception desk and just press the ring. I was waiting outside, but there was a person going in and he said he would open it by pressing the bell.

I don't understand why the people working at the consulate are so unfriendly. Shouldn't they get more education?

You were so kind today ..

Was there anyone who answered the damn phone call? I left a few calls from the time the door opened to the end, and from the voice recording, but there was no contact. Why are there no phone calls? It's not funny.

Let's privatize consular affairs.

I know you're busy, but it's too difficult to talk on the phone, but I don't get a return call when I ask you to leave the last time. I don't know where to ask for erotic information.

So what is the question?

During the Korean War I spent about five months at a site along the Naktong River which was known as the Nakdong Gunnery Range. I have been trying to find the location. Would appreciate if anyone could provide me with the closest town/city to it.

MINHEE KIM | Oct 30, 2018

If you were there in August 1950, the location must be Yeongsan, Changnyeong, South Korea. It sits in the middle of busan and daegu.

My friend was born in South Korea and needs a copy of her birth certificate for a cruise coming up in 2 weeks. Is there any way that this is a possibility? What should she do?

Jamey Booker | Oct 30, 2018

S. Korea does not give out birth certificate. She needs her passport and her green card or any Visa paper work to the cruise
