I stay here very frequently for work and am a Marriott gold member. Usually I love this hotel, just a few minor things here and there like trash from previous stay being left in my room on arrival and such. This time was different. First our AC went out at about 10pm. We opted to tough it out for the night as the kids were asleep and called it in in the morning. By the time a new room was ready the following day our room had reached 86 degrees. We understand that it was a busy week and it was no one's fault at the hotel. This stuff happens. What shouldn't happen though is that our 5 year old finding a pill in one of the rooms on the floor. Completely unacceptable and we're glad our 10 month old didn't get there first. Secondly we found someone else's belongings under the other bedroom bed. Again, not a huge deal but speaks to cleanliness. Thirdly and probably most annoyingly is that this is the THIRD time during my stays that house keeping has completely ignored the do not disturb sign and tried coming into my room before it is even checkout time. This drives me absolutely insane and caused my wife to leave a business call early this morning while I was working to make sure our kids weren't opening the door. This should absolutely never happen and it's happened multiple times at this location. Lastly, our room cards were shut off before checkout. I generally love this hotel but there were a lot of negatives this time that may cause me to look elsewhere.

The hotel is in a good area with lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. It was very quiet and very dark. None of the lights in the parking lot worked We had a 2 bedroom suite. The layout was nice but that was about it. The room smelled like dog. There was hair in the shower and a wad of hair behind the bathroom door. I also found a jellybean on the floor. The carpet in the room and in the halls is nasty and needs to be cleaned. The beds are very soft and had lots of pillows to choose from. I probably would not stay here again unless management brought up the level of sanitation.

Check-in wait was EXTREMELY TOO LONG! Receptionist claimed there were a lot of people still in from the night before. HOWEVER, the PARKING LOT was VERY EMPTY of cars upon my arrival! The room was nice and roomy enough. Housekeeping had left a dirty filled trash can from a previous stay in my room. The Elevators were Malfunctioning and really needs maintenance before someone is severely injured or worse.

All in all the place was great. Wonderful breakfast and customer service. We checked in late in the evening and we were very tired. Upon seeing what a great set up with two bedrooms and two bathrooms we had we were thrilled until I pulled down the bedspread and I saw immediately that the sheets and pillow cases on my bed were not clean. I also saw two long hairs on a supposedly clean towel. When I complained to one of the customer service people the next morning she said that the washing machines were out of order and they had to take the linens to a sister Marriott to be washed. She wasn't even apologetic and acted as if it was a natural thing to do by leaving dirty linens on the bed. Ty, who works at night was the best! He checked us in and helped so much with some heavy luggage. It would have been such a nice stay if it hadn't been for the linens.
