The absolute best experience! Keisha was extremely knowledgeable. I told her what I was looking for and my quick history and her recommendations have been spot on each time! But honestly the entire team at TWC is fabulous. The operations are so well thought through and there is a helpful smile at each step of the journey. Thank you!

Unfortunately, at this time, you need to have a DC medical marijuana card. If you are a DC resident, we can help you obtain one. We have been told that in the next few months, the reciprocity law will be implemented, and we'll be able to serve others from out of the district with card. Please check our website for when this is implemented.
DC is a recreational state. No, you do not need a medical card. Since 2014
Yes, we do accept PA cardholders. You will need your current PA card and a current government issued photo ID. Looking forward to seeing you!
Why does anyone need a card if recreational is legal in DC?
Hopefully within the next week!
Yes, you do. You need a medical card for any legal dispensary in DC.
Hi! We accept medical cannabis cards from DC and the following 17 states: Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Oregon, and Washington state

I'm sorry, but you do need a medical cannabis card to shop in legal dispensaries in DC. Unfortunately, the DC Dept of Health still prohibits cards from Virginia. I truly wish we could be of service.
I'm sorry, currently DC is prohibited from accepting California cards. I truly wish we could be of service.
Unfortunately, DC is not permitted to accept Arizona cards at this time. We can accept medical cards from DC and 17 other states, but Arizona is not included.
We accept medical cannabis cards from DC and the following 17 states: Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Oregon, Washington state

You have to be a RESIDENT OF DC to obtain a Medical Marijuana card to be able to gain access to a DC Medical Marijuana Dispensary. There are other new and more traditional methods to obtain Marijuana for RECREATIONAL and MEDICAL USE. For a more detailed explanation follow my Twitter account @chuck337100 and/or Like my Facebook page Charles R Harris Jr and I might be able to provide the information you request or can point you in the right direction....since you're new to the area. 😀
DC has approved recreational use NOT recreational sale. You are allowed to carry up to 2oz or grow up to 6 plants for your own consumption but you CANNOT buy/sell it (recreationally). Therefore, all of the dispensaries in DC are medical dispensaries and REQUIRE an MMJ card for access, entry and purchase. Hope this helps.
DC does not accept international medical cards. And asking online isn't an issue, it's legal. Ignore the stupid people.
If you got ID and MD or DC card you can go there
You need to have a Medical Marijuana Certificate from either DC or Maryland.
There is Herbiculture in Burtonsville that just opened up and Revolution Releaf in Laurel
Of course not... This is a medical dispensery in Washington DC not some weed guys in Cali... Mailing cannabis is illegal..!
Unfortunately, it is illegal for anyone to mail cannabis. However, if you have a DC card we can delivery to you.
You need a medical cannabis card to purchase legal cannabis in DC. There are 7 legal dispensaries. We take cards from almost all states with licensed medical cannabis programs and we can deliver for those patients with cards in DC. Hope to see you!
Our regulatory agency (ABRA) is talking with the VA Board of Pharmacy to work something out. They have told us they will notify us as soon as they have a decision on what will be accepted.
We can only deliver within DC. Sorry!
Yes, at this time you still need a medical card from any state to purchase at any of the legal dispensaries in DC.
Unfortunately, you cannot. I wish we could sell them!
Yes, You MUST have a Medical card. I have been a patient since opening 2015. They are well staffed to assist all new patients with the registration process.
I believe it's cash and debit only
No, actually we use the DC allotment for medical cannabis card holders, which is 4 ounces/30 days. It has nothing to do the allotment in your home state.
They will be open for Holiday Hours both Sunday and Monday.
Do you have a DC medical cannabis card?
Mayor Bowser has designated us as essential employees and we strongly value the trust you have placed in us to keep you safe. We have taken a number of actions to help reduce the risk of the COVID-19 and we’re always available to answer your questions or address your concerns. All of our staff wear masks and we require all patients to do so as well. Hand sanitizers are available throughout the dispensary and Patient Consultants use these and sanitize their areas between patients. The dispensary is thoroughly sanitized hourly. Physical distancing is enforced and decals have been placed throughout the dispensary to ensure that patients are standing at appropriate distances. We have implemented online ordering and patients can now pay and pick-up their order at the newly built window, without having to enter the dispensary. Our new patient process may now be completed on-line or outside under our new, larger canopy. We have minimized transaction times to approximately 5-10 mins
I'm sorry, but there is no legal way to purchase a cannabis plant in DC.
Yes you do. Sorry!
Currently we are still prohibited from taking VA pts. However, we have been told by our regulating agency that they will be giving us a decision in the near future. Check back in a few weeks please.
@dakota Baker say thanks to common wealth, that's what Virginia votes for..
If you go to the website it will give you all the info and answer's you're looking for. Sorry VA is a no for now.
No, only medical cannabis is legal in DC, and you must have a card to purchase in the legal dispensaries.
This is a #FALSE #FAKE query... someone's idea of a #JOKE ☹️👎 I know the owner of the #BEST Medical Marijuana DISPENSARY in DC. You can find their many products and strains on their website takomawellness.com. I have purchased over 40 different strains. Check out my DISPENSARY and STRAIN reviews @chuck3337100 at stickyguide.com 👌👍
Yes you can check the different cartridges for vape pens that we have on our menu. Our cartridges are a standard 510.
No, you must have a medical card from any state with a medical cannabis program as well as a government issued photo ID to purchase from any legal, licensed dispensary in DC.
Actually, we have recently changed our policy and only assist with the process on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, however we are closed this Wednesday for New Year's Day. We will be assisting on Monday and Tuesday just this week. You are welcome to apply online yourself or we can assist you on those days. As Stephen noted, the new online process is so much easier and quicker.
Yes! Just bring your driver's license as well. Looking forward to meeting you!
My advise is to call Takoma Wellness during business hours and speak to Mrs. Kahn ( an owner ) and she would know best to answer any questions that you may have. Good Luck!
Yes, we do! Just bring your card/document and we'll copy it. Additionally, we have daily sales as well as our Loyalty Program, which allows you to obtain points and redeem them for discounts and free items. We offer a 10% discount for all patients who are veterans (with the above documentation). We offer a 20% discount for DC patients only who have been designated as low income by the DC Department of Health. However, you will only receive one discount-the higher one-for your purchase.
To be sure, give Takoma Wellness a call & they should be able answer all questions.
In DC you can possess and gift (for free) upto 2oz. In order to use this and other dispensaries though you need a card.go on facebook and join the real Washington dc recreational group you'll find some people who can help.
Contact Tacoma Wellness. Ask for an appointment. They will guide you through everything. They are very knowledgeable. Good luck!
I'm sorry, but DC is not accepting West Virginia residents at this time.
We do have "Cookie in a Jar" which is basically edible cookie dough, with chocolate chips and peanut butter. It's delicious! We hope to have the chocolate squares back again. The cultivator had a fire which destroyed their kitchen, but they are rebuilding.
VA has had a legal medical marijuana program for about a year however no dispensaries have opened as or 08.19.2019. DC currently has a reciprocity agreement with 27 other states, VA is not one of those states yet. So, even if you have a VA MMJ card you will be unable to come to DC dispensaries. To be clear, DC council is reviewing four (4) other states to add to their list and I believe VA is one of them.
Not at this time. It is legal to possess and to grow, but in order to purchase legally you must have a medical marijuana card from the state in which you reside. It's very confusing as much of the media states we are fully recreational..which isn't accurate.
Go up to the takoma wellness center and enquire about it one of the great staff members will be glad too walk you through it hope this helps....
Hi, if you have a medical cannabis card from DC or 17 other states: Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Oregon, or Washington state, we'd be happy to see you. Unfortunately, if you don't have a card from any of these states, DC dispensaries are prohibited from serving you. Thanks very much for your interest.
No, I'm sorry but we don't.
Yes from this dispensary you need a card for purchases. But it's great cbd options

Hi! We accept medical cannabis cards from DC and the following 17 states: Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Oregon, and Washington state
Unfortunately, none of the licensed medical cannabis dispensaries in DC are permitted to serve VA patients at this time. I truly wish we could be of service.
As stated above, the only legal option in DC is to purchase cannabis in one of five licensed medical cannabis dispensaries. A medical cannabis card is required from DC or one of 17 states.
I really wish we could. The District’s Department of Health makes the decision and has only permitted us to accept cards from states whose programs have criteria similar to ours. I’m really sorry.
I dont think it do. 2 different states
Yes u do hav to hav a medical card to get in u hav to try Gorilla Glue the best yes MissDc

You have to have a MM card from a recognized state.
Unfortunately , you still need a medical card to go to a dispensary.
NO! In the DMV area, you need MC from any of the tri-state to buy marijuana.
No...you have ti be a resident of DC ...Get a doctor's recommendation and apply at DOH with $100 fee...Takoma Wellness Center will help...use my name Charles R Harris Jr and we'll BOTH get $50 credit...😀
Register with the state cannabis commission and then go to a registered doctor. I went to Green Docs. But you need to register first and get your state id number before you can get you medical card. It can take up to 3 weeks.
If a Provider's name is listed on your card, then you cannot change their names from your card if this is your first year. When your card is due for renewal, the issuing government will issue one without a Provider, thus allowing you to go to any Provider of your choice.
Yes! Just make sure to bring your card from NJ!
NO! You NEED medical marijuana certificate.
Maryland Medical Marijuana Certificate!
We have answered this same question so many times. NO! YOU CANNOT BUY RECREATIONAL WEEDS IN WASHINGTON DC OR MARYLAND!
NO!
Yes

Although Washington DC has legalized recreational marijuana, do i still need a DC Medical Marijuana Card to purchase weed in DC?
No! You have to live in DC to get a DC licence.
In Maryland, YES; in DC, NO. You have to be a resident of DC to get it from DC.
No, there none! Contact Takoma Wellness Center or any of the other 6 registered dispensaries; they will advise you on the process.
Medical Marijuana Certificate from DC Department of Health if you live in the District of Columbia.
Federal IS NOT legal because marijuana has not been legalized by the federal government. Marijuana is legalized by the District of Columbia Government but the quantity you can have on you is restricted; and depends if you can find non-licenced Sellers to buy from You can buy marijuana legally from any of the three Dispensaries in DC IF YOU have a certificate from the DC Dept of Health. Certificate from other States ARE NOT valid or accepted in DC.
NO! You MUST have a medical license issued by the government of the District of Columbia
Yes
went to the doc she approved me but didnt give me a written certification, will i be able to go to the despinsory still? what should I do?
Call Takoma Wellness Center or visit their website
No...you have to be a resident of the District of Columbia.
Why? There is 3 dispensary's currently open in maryland.
Not yet.
Contact one of the three marijuana dispensaries ( Takoma Wellness Center) ; they will give you all the required information on how to register, the cost (both Doctor and the registration fee) and a list of medical marijuana Doctors in the District of Columbia. Good luck!
No
Not at this establishment. Nor would you want to, they over charge. In the state of Washington you need a medical ID to purchase cannabis. Also there is no reciprocity in this state for out of state patients
Meeical marijuana is for the patient for self consumption at home which is designated by your ID. It is definitely against the law to sell and/or disttribute to others in or out of state.
Yes.. From the District of Columbia Department of Health... The visit and the letter of recommendation cost $150
No... Not at all
Go to the dispensary, and ask for where they buy it from, if your cool about it they might give u there connect which will sell you lower prices and wont ask for ID. Just because it worked for others doesnt mean i recommend it, its still illegal, just depends how bad u want it.
