Honestly, reading these reviews…I am not sure I stayed in the same place as previous renters. The only good thing I can say is that Amanda was attentive and accommodating and Will, is the nicest guy and made us cushions for the lounge chair…which was beyond sweet. I am not sure how anyone could get married here. As soon as you walk in the doors, the tile is cracked, chipped and coming apart. The outside paint is chipped down to the wood and in numerous areas, the wood is rotted along windows, gutters, pillars and doors. That is just the outside. On the inside…my goodness. For what they charge PER NIGHT…comfortable beds, pillows, sheets and updated bedding is not too much to ask. Nor is new carpeting. And a kitchen sink that the drains are not rusted. Yes, there is some charm in an historic 150 year old mansion. But this house is actually dirty. The doors are dirty and need painted. The walls have peeling paint. I don’t think any of the floors have seen a mop in decades. Do not even get me started on the laundry room closet and how utterly disgusting that was. The only thing clean was the refrigerator. Forks, dishes appear to be mismatch and not enough for 12. Seriously, it’s not hard or expensive to go to wal mart and get some cheap plates and silverware. Given how dirty this place is…I cannot even imagine who would want to have a wedding there. Oh, and location. This is false and misleading. This is not in the heart of Nashville. It is located ACROSS the river from Nissan Stadium in East Nash. It’s is VERY long walk from Gulch, Broadway, and all other major attraction. Especially after a night of partying. And the heat of the summer. More like a quick $10 Uber ride. Spend your money on a hotel downtown.

Very beautiful, classic event venue. Extraordinarily helpful staff and beautiful place.

Let's just say that my husband and I are obsessed with East Ivy. We were able to have the wedding of our dreams! Such a hidden gem in East Nashville. Our guests are still raving about how unique and beautiful the venue is. Working with Jamie & Coby was great! The planning process was easy and we loved that we got to stay there the night of our wedding along with some of our bridal party. Our wedding night couldn't have gone smoother and it was all thanks to them! I highly suggest getting married here!

I have been in the wedding photography business for 15 years, East Ivy is one of the most beautiful venues in Nashville. The first time that I had a bride book there, I fell in love with all the scenic shooting possibilities that enhance my work so much more. I enjoyed working with everyone there, Ed the owner of the mansion was very flexible allowing me full access to shoot where I wanted. Jamie was the main point person, and she made sure that everything stayed on schedule and ran smoothly. Very impressed! I have shot weddings at many different venues around town, and this is not always the case. When a bride contacts me before booking a venue, I now recommend East Ivy first!!

Park on the street is free. Don't leave valuables in car over night. Thefts are not unheard of and do happen locally.
