Perfect venue for 100-150 guests. The building is beautifully curated from doors and bathrooms to lighting and textures. It’s a cozy room that feels large. The owners really paid attention to the little details. Allison was not only gracious and easy to work with, but also helped with the little things to keep our event running smoothly. 10/10 recommend.

I've photographed multiple weddings at Ruby and always love the space. The bridal suite is cute and the window light coming into the maid ceremony space is really soft and warm by mid-afternoon. It's a great place to photograph for clean and modern portraits of couples and bridal photos. And even though it's a smaller venue it's designed in a way that every space has something beautiful to offer in the way of photos. The large front doors, The pathway and bushes on the west side of the building, the patio area out back, and the field and trees to the east side. I love working there. :)

We were looking for an eclectic venue to host a rehearsal dinner. We found it in the Ruby. The venue has a fabulous vibe that provides a perfect slate to build your party. Brenda and Dan were easy to work with. It's nice they provide a list of preferred vendors. Being from out of town, that gave us a place to start. We chose a caterer from their list (Clean Plate Club) and the rest just fell into place. The Welcome Party followed the rehearsal dinner - with the front porch being tented and heated, the whole venue was very spacious and comfortable for our guests. A prefect start to a perfect weekend! We recently hosted my daughter’s wedding reception at Ruby and could not have been more pleased. Every detail of the reception far exceeded our expectations. After cancelling initial wedding plans due to Covid and then plan B, we landed plan C at Ruby and the third time really was the charm! Dan and Brenda could not have been more understanding and accommodating as we pulled off this last minute venue change. Because of their stellar list of preferred vendors, we were able to secure all vendors within a few weeks, and every vendor was absolutely exceptional. They knew the space and worked seamlessly with each other and Ruby. Because of this and the beautiful interior and design at Ruby, we enjoyed a truly magical afternoon. This depends upon the Nashville venue. With bookings going much farther into the future since Covid, venues are having to sort out their booking policies. At our Nashville wedding venues, we book no more than 18 months in the future. On the first of every month we post a new month of dates, 18 months out. Clients may contact us that morning for a date in that newly released month. Dates will go to the first claimant after 9 am on the first of the month.
A lot of couples think a contract should have everything in it. Well, if it did, it would be 100 pages long. And of course no one would read it anyway. A couple should instead look to a few big issues and the spirit of the contract. Payment terms, rental period, cancellation, and any rules particular to the venue (candle use, sparklers, etc.) should be in the contract, but couples should pay close attention to the venue's force majeure (acts of God) policy. Overall, the contract should strike a fair balance between the interests of the couple and the Nashville wedding venue.
Generally, you don't. Most Nashville wedding venues have refined their contracts over many years and have found a version that has worked for both the venue and their clients. Venues usually don't have the time or budget to have their lawyers change contracts for every couple. If the event is relatively last minute, however, a venue may be willing to negotiate price and terms.

You need to know everything that gets you to a position of feeling comfortable. You should scour the venue's website for information, talk a tour, ask questions related to information that is not otherwise presented, get an overall feel for the space and the operation, and of course read the contract.
It's almost universal that a couple wants to be inspired and have their guests inspired by the venue. They want to space to reflect their style and personality. After this, it could be any number of things from outdoor space to a combination ceremony and reception venue.
The answer depends upon what is more important to you. As venue owners, we think the venue is more important. It determines most aspects of a wedding from overall design and look to the food served and music played. Most couples agree and have dates that are at least somewhat flexible. But, sometimes a date is more important, whether it be an anniversary, a numerology thing (who can forget 10/10/20!) or a military deployment.
Nashville has good weather for much of the year. Even the winter months will often see days in the 60s or even 70s. The spring is prone to rainy days and July and August are often hot. Leaves turn color in early November. In short, every month in Nashville has something redeeming about it.
