First and Foremost, if you want the truth about this hotel, I'm going to give it to you right now! This hotel is great from start to finish. Found this hotel last minute and seen it was a 2 star hotel, but I think this hotel deserves more than that for sure. I checked in at 4:45pm by Chris. He was very helpful and I didn't have to wait long to get checked in. The room I had was clean. Bathroom was clean and had no complaints. The courtyard was peaceful and very nice for the price I paid for and couldn't believe that you could find a hidden gem in the heart of Las Olas Downtown area. Now that I gave you this honest review, you to go ahead and book you stay NOW!!! I promise you, you won't regret it. And thank you Chris for being a great hotel guest. I will be back and recommend everyone to stay. π

The Oasis Hotel is an all around relaxing place to stay in the heart of the hub-bub of Ft Lauderdale. It is nice to be able to park just outside of your room instead of having to park in a garage and schlep your luggage to your room. No breakfast is no problem because there is a Starbucks just across the street. Great value for a retro-motel experience. Say hello to the βwatch kittyβ in their real oasis courtyard.

Wasn't a great experience. First, I called to see if I can check in early. The guy says sure, 12:30 would be the earliest. I got there at 12:45 and they said they would have to check. He then goes and checks and says another 10 minutes before it's ready. We get to the room after the 10 minutes and it smells SO BAD of cigarette smoke. It is so overwhelming I don't think ANYONE could possibly sleep there. I didn't have time to resolve the issue at the moment so I left and tried calling later, I literally called 40+ times, emailed once and messaged on facebook and never once heard anything, and I still haven't heard anything. I would love to get a partial refund or a full one because this place wasn't worth it.

Minutes away from whole foods, pizza, drug store and across the street from a Starbucks. We stayed for 9 days as my partner recovered from surgery and and it was exactly what we needed. We were in the hotel probably 80% of our trip. Most of things I was unhappy with are things out of the hotels control, as its not a new building. (Small bathrooms, loud ac blowing directly on the bed, slow drains etc) We only had loud neighbors at the end of our stay, who were up until 3am (really thin walls) Parking lot also needs to be repainted, lines aren't visible and parking can get confusing and cramped. Again these are things the hotel can't really control, but are worth mentioning for comfortability. However, I loved the grounds of the hotel. Beautiful landscaping and foliage throughout, and they have a great courtyard to have your coffee in. We met the hotel cat here too. Everyone was friendly we interacted with too. I probably would get a larger room if we were planning to stay for more than 3 nights, but this is perfect for a short stay or vacation where you won't be in the room very much.
