I’ve been to the Banner Thunderbird ER 4 times since 2003, the last time was this past Wednesday, March 6. Every time I’ve gotten excellent service, from check-in to admittance. The 1st time was for a kidney stone. They gave me pain meds within 15 minutes. The 2nd time was for a gallbladder attack. I was taken right in, given pain meds right away, admitted as soon as they got my blood pressure under control and surgery the next day. The 3rd time was in an ambulance for a bout with vertigo where I was unconscience when they found me. Again, I was taken right in and admitted that afternoon. The last time was for 2 kidney stones. This time the pain had subsided before I checked in, but they still got me a bed within 20 minutes. In every case whenever I pressed the nurse button, one came within minutes. Everyone I came in contact with, including the custodian, was friendly, kind and responsive to my needs. Nothing but good service at Banner Thunderbird.

On campus

Depends. If you are dying and can convince them you are not a hypochondriac then not long. Otherwise you might be there a long time.

Banner Thunderbird is a horrible hospital and if you can avoid going there, do so. Enter at Your Own Risk should be there motto.

I would call the hospital. Tell them the problem. They have a lost and found on every floor.

Not as yet, due to Covid, but you can call the hospital to enquire about that.

Its best to call your insurance and ask who is in network. Also ask how much is covered.

If you have a minor complaint you can always go to one of the stand-alone Doc in the Box er's. Obviously if someone comes in with a heart attack stab wound or gunshot they're going to be placed in front of your minor cut or broken finger

It depends on how busy they are could be an hour or two up to four or five just depents on what your being seen for and how busy it is. Seems to be less busy early in the morning

Unless you have guardianship or power of attorney over that patient, you don't have a legal right to obtain their paperwork.

No diffently not .if you are just feeling depressed or hearing voices or anything of that nature and you feel like you may need some help to cope with anything that you might be dealing with then this is the place to contact . Not everyone dealing with depression is suicidal but they don't want you to get to that point where you may get to that point .

Idk about icu but in a regular room, I stayed in my dad's room. Ask for a recliner.

Total replacements are actually pretty quick. You might be looking at about an hour and a half in surgery. Keeping in mind that doesn't include registration, pre-op, post or anything in between that might hold things up.

I have a complaint against nurse called Joanna level B my wife was room 11 bed one and this nurse gave my wife a hard time she called me and complain about her and she was very rude person how is big Hosp with this reputation to have rude people like this in the their stuff she refuse to call a cab for her she said she have another patient and she doesn’t have the time to do that and after she complained about her after 10 minutes she want to release her from the hospital I think for a personal matter after that I ask her to call the cab for her because I can’t see refused and then I called a car and I told her to stay with her at the main entrance wait for the cab to show the release documents to the driver and put her in a cab sheriff use that and she is argue with me on that please do take action against this nurse and some other nurse like her is it going to hurt your reputation my name Abdul Wahid my phone number 60267 94380 Call me if you have any questions my best regards
