Unless you have guardianship or power of attorney over that patient, you don't have a legal right to obtain their paperwork.
In the United States everyone is protected under the HIPAA Law. What I am saying is that everyone who has a medical history is protected and no one has the right to know that information unless it is a medical staff employee. To obtain legal medical documents on any person you must have their permission and it has to be legalized by a judge .
The same way you get salt work from a patient.
