Wow, my grandson was born at 6:45 on Friday night. Thankfully mom and baby are doing great but now they are getting discharged at 10:15 on Saturday NIGHT! I don't understand how they think it is safe and reasonable to send a newborn baby home in the dark of night! They have been waiting since 7. If they knew they weren't getting the paperwork or testing done in a timely manner, then they should have it roll over till the next morning. They can't say they were over booked, the other rooms were empty. Good luck future Arlington moms if you are coming here.

The staff here in the LBD & the NICU is beyond phenomenal. The 3rd floor LBD RN’s are so amazing it’s hard to believe tbh. They are ON TOP of their job and always made us feel not just cared for but loved on. I only remember a few names like Ali, Taylor, Jessica and SO many more, when I tell you they get things done, they REALLY do. When my wife was discharged we missed them caring for her INSTANTLY. Now for the RN’s in the NICU. 😳🤯 They have to be hands down angels sent from Heaven. Names like: Peyton, Emily, Alexis, Trey, Christian and so MANY other nurses TOOK AMAZING CARE of my preemie daughter. Lynn, Gail and others are running an amazing staff. Even the Doctors and Nurse Practicioner are TOP NOTCH. There was a charge nurse on night shift who is a bad apple but I ONLY mention her to say her unprofessionalism, laziness, bad attitude and lack of accountability(I think she had one of the RN’s thrown under the bus😔) WILL not drown out the heroics, due diligence, hard work and infinite amount of care the other’s put into my daughter making it through her first 2 weeks of life. These day shift nurses and night shift nurses on the 5th floor are the kind of folks that make you want to do MORE for others on this earth. To be a better person because these folks CLEARLY doing this thing called LIFE at a high level. Without them my daughter might now have pulled through the way she did. They taught my wife and I how to properly care for our daughter and also gave us the confidence and education needed. I feel terrible that I don’t remember all of your names but I will never forget your faces. GOD BLESS YOU ALL there on 3 & 5!!! 🙏🏽🙌🏽

I gave birth in this hospital a few weeks ago. Definitely need more training. I was a natrual birth and wanted a natural birth and they kept trying to push an epidural every 10 minutes do you want a epidural we don't usually do this unless you have a epidural. Then when i told them the baby was coming 4 to 5 times and please to call my Dr the nurses ignored me and my husband. Very rude and disappointed in delivery. Finally after the 6th time of calling the nurse in she saw the head of the baby and finally believed me. Very disappointed in how they ran things. Then the so called complimentary meal for my husband and i was totally burnt and disgusting but its hospital food so its to be expected. But the main point is the delivery of my baby. They basically left me and my husband alone to give birth I looked at him in tears and said we're going to have to do this alone. one of the nurses was even like hold it in. Like hold what in her head is already out!

They left me in a waiting room in labor, having contractions every minute or less, for 15 hours because they didn’t have space for me to go upstairs. I was informed afterward that they sent other women that came in after me, upstairs before me because they were further along in dilation. My pregnancy ended with my cervix swelling & a c section which a nurse told me could have been avoided had I been treated/induced instead of ignored when I first arrived.

And

Has the policy changed back to two people in the delivery room. And also can siblings come and meet new brother or sister? Or is it still no visitors?
