The steak and tomato bisque soup were great but the mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables didn't work for my tastebuds.

Good travel stop, the showers are accessible if you have mobility issues with a place to sit and a stabilizing bar which truck stops dont always have. The guy at the counter was nice and there was no wait for the shower.

Edit: changed from 2/5 to 1/5 due to the owners attitude. Nothing too special here unless you drive a big rig in which case they have ample parking. Good place for a trucker to pull over for some food due to the ease of parking, but for what I got my dish was a little pricey (1/2 order biscuits & gravy). Cost me about $5 and some change for water and what tasted like powdered gravy mixed with water over pre-made biscuits tossed in the microwave. No flavor sadly. Food came out seconds after I ordered which made the whole experience feel more like a fast food restaurant than a diner/cafe. I didn’t have a problem with the staff, but they were really just there to move food. Maybe they’ve got some other things on the menu that are better and would make this stop worthy of a higher review, but I probably won’t be back to find out…

Our waitress left us unattended for the duration of our time there. Three out of our four orders where wrong, under cooked, and cold. There wasn't a single potato variation on any of our plates that was actually thoroughly cooked. I wish that was an exaggeration but you could literally audibly hear the crunch. I would have loved to bring this to our waitresses attention had she actually been paying attention to us. If the place were busy it wouldn't have bothered me so much, but it was our table and another. We had to ask for the same things multiple times to the point we actually had to go up to the counter to ask again because the lady was just standing there for several minutes. We weren't mad, we weren't rude, we had been driving for more then 10 hours with 3 kids and wanted hot food that wasn't from a drive through or a gas station. Our expectations were not high, like I said we wanted it hot and cooked but I wouldn't use either of those words to describe the food that was served to us. We ate what we could, paid our bill, and left.
