Nice amenities & location, but be aware potential tenants, mgmt just disclosed that they will soon authorize AirBnB short-term rentals in the complex. I've heard too many horror stories about other established Uptown/Victory Park apts go downhill after allowing this, so it's hard to see how it wouldn't have an impact on quality of life here. Wish this would have been disclosed before signing a 15-mo lease. Time will tell.

I have lived at the Alexan for over five years and have always been treated very kindly and with respect. Unfortunately, they switched management companies a couple of years back to Greystar and they are dreadful to deal with. Very disappointed with their customer service they do not value their residence and don’t consider the loyalty and time that you’ve put into the building. I will not be renewing my lease here but just wanted to warn all that are considering to move here they are just out for your money. Oh and beware of their ant problem. Have experienced it in a two different apartments both in a one bedroom and two bedroom on the 7th floor. Gross! Also – just a forewarning the water stinks and other residents have complained about that too. Another forewarning for anyone to consider moving here the walls are extremely thin and you can hear everything that’s going on outside. Not only that the elevators are constantly down and you’re having to take the stairs all the way up to your building. Pathetic— like I said they are just out for your money please be careful. Lastly they use a carrier system for packages called fetch which is by far the worst concept I’ve ever heard of. My packages have been lost several times and they’ve had to reimburse me money. Stay away!

Horrible experience from the start! I got this apartment thinking there would be a great home for my family and it’s been nothing but horrible! Trash everywhere no A/c half of the time and on top of that the elevators work when they want to as well my apartment since day one has been infested w ants / spiders and water bugs. And to top it off there is constantly dog urine in the hallways and elevators everyday! But my last straw was my cars being broken into windows smashed and the office people are no help at all if anything rude towards you for reporting it. Would not recommend living here to my worst enemy!! Would rate 0 stars if I could.
